1. Don't think we're finished just because you blew up the plane!

2. We won't be finished until you join my brother, half-breed!

3. Do me a favor. Try not to die in the fall!

4. So I can kill you myself, in case that wasn't clear!

5. Try not to die?

6. No problem!

7. Any luck finding the vermin we're infested with?

8. Go. See to your other mission.

9. Plasma and I can take care of the sapien bitch.

10. Well, I can.

11. For Makai.

12. For Makai.

13. Oh, damn! Whatever's going on in there, they better be paying us overtime.

14. You boys coming from the attack site?

15. Yes, sir. PR's gonna have a hell of a time explaining that mess.

16. Any equipment worth salvaging is in the truck.

17. Find a position on the perimeter.

18. We can't go inside because of the high-tension current.

19. But the second these doors open, we move.

20. It's Cavaliere, get up!

21. Do we finally get a crack at these intruders?

22. We move out to battle.

23. It's just the drugs. I'm hallucinating.

24. Fuck.

25. Do it.

26. Please.

27. Lieutenant. Whew!

28. You almost got me there.

29. Man, am I glad to see you.

30. You too.

31. Dante!

32. You've gotta do something!

33. Any suggestions?

34. I don't know. Maybe try turning your arm spiky again, huh?

35. Why can't you be one of them rich superheroes with flying armor,

36. or a parachute in your belt or some shit.

37. Parachute!

38. Whoo!

39. Gotcha.

40. My first time using one of these.

41. Actually, it's my first time being on a plane too.

42. Don't worry. I'm sure this will go much better than that did.

43. Dante, wake up.

44. You're going to live.

45. I feel weird!

46. I feel weird too!

47. We're falling through the sky at 100 miles an hour!

48. Ooh, it's a weird feeling!

49. - How'd you make it out? - Luck, I guess.

50. Gimme your gun.

51. Hey, weren't they all dead already?

52. Yeah. They'll be harder to study in a hundred fucking pieces.

53. We're one floor from the top.

54. The amulet's still up there.

55. Let's go see what that Roger fucking Rabbit reject's been doing.

56. The only stairs up are at the end of the hall.

57. I've been on this floor for a while. I had time for a little recon.

58. Did you go inside any of the apartments?

59. No. Did you?

60. One of them.

61. It's not humans the Rabbit has locked in here, it's demons.

62. But they were... different.

63. They care for each other, like a family.

64. But they're still demons, right?

65. Not like the ones I signed up to kill.

66. I think it might be more complicated than that.

67. It reminded me of something my team and I saw once.

68. It doesn't matter right now.

69. I don't think it's complicated at all.

70. They are demons. We are demon hunters.

71. Believe me, Lieutenant, nothing good ever came out of Makai.

72. You mean "the demon realm."

73. You just did me a favor.

74. Now it doesn't have to be a fair fight.

75. There you are.

76. Wait!

77. Let's negotiate.

78. Your current position doesn't seem to offer much leverage.

79. And you wouldn't have had to play dress-up if this was just about killing me.

80. I'm guessing the Rabbit gave you a different mission?

81. Infiltrate DARKCOM.

82. What's your point?

83. You've been wearing the body of a low-level recruit.

84. I'm an officer. I can go places he can't.

85. I can give you information, passcodes,

86. as long as I'm alive to do it.

87. Wait.

88. You're the one Rabbit wanted most.

89. It will be an honor to present him your poison-bloated corpse.

90. Looks like you killed the wrong bitch.

91. Dante! What's happening?

92. Son of Sparda.

93. Your father left this for you. Always keep it safe.

94. They're here! Where's your brother?

95. Hide here. I have to find Vergil.

96. Hey! You got wings?

97. So flap your ass down here and save us already!

98. No! No. Get away from me! You're one of them! Get away!

99. Then fall!

100. You see, soldier? Even the Devil can do God's work.

101. Hey, kid?

102. Dante!

103. Whoa.

104. Whoa.

105. You're the frickin' son of Sparda, baby!

106. Time to change up the odds.

107. Here we go! Move, move, move!

108. Stay back!

109. Do not approach the building! It's a trap!

110. Repeat! It's a trap!

111. - Back! Everyone back! - Repeat!

112. Nice to see you got in touch with your demon side.

113. I'd have felt all silly revenge-killing a human.

114. You know what I felt when I killed your brother?

115. Nothing.

116. You took something from me.

117. I'll kill as many of you as I have to to get it back.

118. Then I'll kill the rest.

119. Where is my necklace?

120. Rabbit has it.

121. I don't... I don't know.

122. I think you just told me.

123. Status report.

124. Two casualties, but the rest of us are still here.

125. Thank Christ. I already lost one team today.

126. I thought I'd lost you all too.

127. It's damn good to hear your voice, Lieutenant.

128. There's something else you need to hear.

129. Get everyone on the line.

130. To any dem... To any Makaian who can hear me,

131. this is Lieutenant Mary Ann Arkham of DARKCOM speaking.

132. I know you're not here to attack anyone.

133. I know you only came to this realm

134. because you can't survive where you're from.

135. And I know the White Rabbit keeps you trapped and in fear.

136. That ends now.

137. My team is gonna come in and take you all somewhere safe.

138. This is a rescue mission only.

139. I know you might have been...

140. hurt before by people like us.

141. But you're not our enemy.

142. The Rabbit is.

143. And every bit of pain he's caused, we're gonna pay him back in full.

144. Is that understood?

145. Uh, the words, yeah.

146. The reason...

147. The reason is that the demons here aren't fighters.

148. They're refugees.

149. The Rabbit has a device that lets them travel between realms.

150. They had no choice but to go with him.

151. I'm alive because those demons helped me.

152. I owe them this.

153. So, what do we do with them?

154. Load them on the trucks and take them to HQ. I'll meet you there.

155. What are you gonna do?

156. I'm gonna make it so the Rabbit needs a magician

157. to pull him out of his own asshole.

158. Still only a half-breed.

159. Rabbit's not here right now.

160. Would you like to leave a message?

161. Yeah.

162. I know you.

163. - Lady... - What the hell happened to you?

164. You were right.

165. I am part demon.

166. Yeah, no shit.

167. What made the rusted gears in your brain finally click?

168. I turned into one five minutes ago.

169. You must be telling the truth.

170. Even you couldn't make up something that fucking stupid.

171. You're not gonna change again though, right?

172. No, it doesn't feel like it.

173. So, you're here for my necklace too, huh?

174. How did you know where it was?

175. I followed the explosions.

176. Generally a good rule of thumb in life.

177. Mmm. You're not gonna shoot me then?

178. What about burn me alive? Inject a bomb in me somewhere?

179. Trick me into holding a grenade that blows up in my hand?

180. Let's find the amulet first, then we'll see.

181. It should be right...

182. here.

183. Sick motherfucker.

184. So just to confirm, my necklace is here, or...?

185. Dante...

186. and Lieutenant Arkham.

187. I presume this means Rudra is...

188. Currently seeping into your floorboards.

189. Hmm.

190. He will be remembered as a martyr.

191. It's you I was calling for anyway.

192. You're here to take us to safety?

193. Sergeant, this is William Baines. Do you copy?

194. Mr. Vice President?

195. What's going on out there? Is the amulet secure?

196. Not so rough.

197. It was better being captured by the other guys.

198. What?

199. Why would you bring demons back to headquarters alive?

200. Because they're refugees, sir.

201. The idea of refugees from Hell did not immediately strike you as contradictory?

202. You should know, your little trap backfired.

203. I shut down your fucking Nazi Frankenstein lab.

204. The families you had locked up here are being evacuated as we speak.

205. It's over.

206. All trivialities. Means to an end.

207. But your point stands, Lieutenant.

208. It is over.

209. My army is about to descend on this city,

210. causing unimaginable death,

211. unless Dante comes to meet us first.

212. - You have 30— - This doesn't make sense.

213. Which part exactly?

214. Come on, he's obviously baiting me into some new insanely complicated setup.

215. - It's his thing. - But why?

216. What's changed?

217. He has the entire amulet and Sparda's sword.

218. Everything he needs to collapse the wall.

219. Why the fuck haven't you done it already?

220. You tell me, Lieutenant.

221. He had the chance to kill you and he didn't.

222. Why keep you alive?

223. What is it about you?

224. I'm the son of Sparda, if that helps.

225. What?

226. Dante has Sparda's DNA.

227. Sparda must have used his own blood in making the wall somehow,

228. because of course he fucking did.

229. That's what you need.

230. Dante's blood.

231. But something in his DNA was dormant until he went demon just now,

232. which is why it wouldn't have worked before.

233. Fuck you, Thumper. I figured it out.

234. I know exactly what you're doing.

235. Yes, and we both know Dante is arrogant enough he'll come anyway.

236. Jesus H.

237. Took you guys long enough.

238. All good here, just a whole bunch of dead ones.

239. That poison of yours has a mean kick.

240. But not as much as those bullets from the looks of it.

241. Thirty minutes, son of Sparda.

242. If you're not here in that time,

243. or if there's any hint of DARKCOM or the military approaching,

244. then I give the command to strike.

245. Attention DARKCOM personnel.

246. This is Vice President Baines.

247. I am directly authorizing a change to your orders.

248. What's happening, Mom?

249. Liquidate the demon invaders.

250. All of them.

251. This world's reckoning is already in motion.

252. All you can do now is ease its passing.

253. Me against an entire army.

254. Sounds easy enough.

255. What'd you find?

256. It wasn't just about your amulet.

257. It was about...

258. It was about eviscerating DARKCOM.

259. All of them. Every one.

260. Maybe we can't take this world from you murderous apes,

261. but we can show you Hell.

262. For Makai!

263. IN MEMORY OF KEVIN CONROY
