1. This is the third stage of her curse.Copy !req
2. What's that gonna do?Copy !req
3. It traps her victims in the burning pleasure district,
from which they cannot escape.Copy !req
4. There, they will feel the boiling heat of Hell itself...Copy !req
5. in her Burning Manse.Copy !req
6. Here it comes.Copy !req
7. That won't work.Copy !req
8. The butterflies spawning from her curse
suck out the souls of whoever they land on,Copy !req
9. then use that soul as fuel
when they transform into a raging fire.Copy !req
10. They will burn until that fuel is used up.Copy !req
11. Without any energy left, the victim must either pass on,Copy !req
12. or experience the pain of burning alive
until the Oiran is sealed once more,Copy !req
13. trapped in a never-ending, soul-fueled blaze.Copy !req
14. He's trying to heal himself.Copy !req
15. But he's trapped in the Manse,
so the spirits he pulled in are lighting on fire, too!Copy !req
16. So hot...Copy !req
17. He's falling apart!Copy !req
18. Meanwhile... the Oiran breathes in
the smoke from the burning souls...Copy !req
19. healing her back to full strength.Copy !req
20. The only way he can stop her now
is to completely consume her.Copy !req
21. What will he do?Copy !req
22. Flames, pestilence, aging:Copy !req
23. consumed by these three curses,
he can do nothing to fight back.Copy !req
24. Both spirits can heal and bolster their strength,Copy !req
25. but since she had more ways to heal herself,
she came out on top.Copy !req
26. Centuries ago, the Yoshiwara pleasure district
burned to the ground... Yet, I see it here, now!Copy !req
27. The battle's over.Copy !req
28. Now, we have to reseal the Oiran.Copy !req
29. She's distracted by her gleeful victory.Copy !req
30. Now's our chance.Copy !req
31. Wait, when did they get so close?Copy !req
32. She's after us. Her gleeful dance
was a feint to get us to put our guard down.Copy !req
33. Keitaro, get her sealed!Copy !req
34. Same seal as the High Priest!Copy !req
35. Got it!Copy !req
36. I'll handle the Oiran.Copy !req
37. Sever her...Copy !req
38. Suicide at Sengon-Kegon Falls.Copy !req
39. That's the ghost from Castle H!Copy !req
40. Keitaro, she's not worn out from that battle!Copy !req
41. It's only made her more powerful!Copy !req
42. She's going to attack again, so hurry!Copy !req
43. Okay!Copy !req
44. Eiko!Copy !req
45. Make your choice.Copy !req
46. As in, choose who she's going to kill?Copy !req
47. Her "district" is confined to
a few meters around the Oiran herself,Copy !req
48. but her butterflies can fly wherever they want.Copy !req
49. If she transforms those flames into butterflies,
sealing her will be way more difficult...Copy !req
50. Go for her eyes.Copy !req
51. You little bitch!Copy !req
52. I knew it. The butterflies
can only attack targets she can see.Copy !req
53. Focus on the ones that get close!Copy !req
54. Oh, no!Copy !req
55. Gotta hurry!Copy !req
56. One day, I will be free.Copy !req
57. And on that day, I will wring
every last drop of blood from your veins!Copy !req
58. I will kill every last member
of your dynasty until none remain!Copy !req
59. This I swear!Copy !req
60. Thank you. We couldn't have made it out without you.Copy !req
61. I'll bring you some sacred sake as thanks.Copy !req
62. I'll hold you to that.Copy !req
63. We did it.Copy !req
64. Nope, not yet.Copy !req
65. Sealing her up removed her curses
of illness and old age.Copy !req
66. But he's been left with such little energy
that he can barely move.Copy !req
67. I hate you, Mom. I hate you for what you did to my dad.Copy !req
68. You're not my mom...Copy !req
69. I'm so hungry.Copy !req
70. I'll fill your belly.Copy !req
71. I can't let you consume whoever you want.Copy !req
72. But I can let you feed on specific targets.Copy !req
73. Really...?Copy !req
74. Really. I'll keep you well-fed until your rage subsides,Copy !req
75. and you won't be hungry ever again.Copy !req
76. So, come with me.Copy !req
77. Okay. I don't... want to see...
my Mom... everywhere again.Copy !req
78. Got me the ghost of the Old I Watergate.Copy !req
79. You killed innocent people.
We had to punish you for that.Copy !req
80. I'll acknowledge it was unpleasant, but I won't apologize.Copy !req
81. However, your circumstances do warrant sympathy.Copy !req
82. So, I'll stay with you until the day
your grudge is washed away.Copy !req
83. You may never see me as an ally, but to prove
I'm not your enemy, I'll give you your sketchbook.Copy !req
84. With that, our battle with
the Old I Watergate ghost came to a close.Copy !req
85. We only survived 'cause all three of us worked together.Copy !req
86. Good thing we weren't short a person this time...Copy !req
87. Yeah. I'm realizing now that having more people
raises our chances of survival,Copy !req
88. so you're coming with me for all of these haunts.Copy !req
89. But don't worry.Copy !req
90. I promise to protect you both.Copy !req
91. Look.Copy !req
92. Shami-san?Copy !req
93. Whoa, Yayoi-chan?Copy !req
94. It'll be easier if we confirm her identity
before calling the cops.Copy !req
95. Wait...Copy !req
96. that looks like the relic
that drove the Castle H ghost insane.Copy !req
97. Uh-huh. Looks like this is other half of the pair.Copy !req
98. But why would Shami-san have it?Copy !req
99. Why would a spiritualist be involved?Copy !req
100. Why place curses instead of exorcising them?
Was she acting alone, or part of a group?Copy !req
101. What are they hoping to achieve by creating evil spirits?Copy !req
102. Perhaps she'd just secured the relic,
but there's still too much that doesn't make sense...Copy !req
103. Where's her spirit?Copy !req
104. I don't see it.Copy !req
105. Maybe the boy ate both her body and her soul?Copy !req
106. Even if his curse turned her soul into meatballs,Copy !req
107. we should still find the part of her that wasn't consumed.Copy !req
108. If she's not here, then she was either washed
downstream, or passed on to the afterlife.Copy !req
109. That, or the soul in her body
was of a completely different form.Copy !req
110. A different form?Copy !req
111. She'd been replaced?Copy !req
112. Mm-hmm. A ghost could take over
someone with spiritual powers.Copy !req
113. Horrifying, but not impossible.Copy !req
114. Something smells fishy. For now, we'll take this with us.Copy !req
115. ANIMOSITY WARDCopy !req
116. We also need to come up with a story
to cover this up and deal with the ghost parts.Copy !req
117. Let's give the cops a call and let them know
we've discovered bodies.Copy !req
118. Hello, police? I'm at the river,
and there are tons of corpses floating downstream...Copy !req
119. Y-yes, I'm sure they're not just mannekins.Copy !req
120. Huh? Um, no, I just... I was walking by, and...Copy !req
121. Once the police confirmed our reports,
they started cleaning up the corpses in the water.Copy !req
122. When we gave them our cover story...Copy !req
123. Mind answering a couple more questions for us?Copy !req
124. they asked us to come down to the station with them.Copy !req
125. Sure.Copy !req
126. Thanks.Copy !req
127. No prob.Copy !req
128. Man, I've still got mad chills.
Gonna take a while to wear off after an S-Rank, huh...?Copy !req
129. Are they still following us?Copy !req
130. What's wrong?Copy !req
131. N-nothing, just think I'm a little tired.Copy !req
132. This way.Copy !req
133. Y-yes, sir.Copy !req
134. Must've been my imagination.Copy !req
135. Interview RoomCopy !req
136. Keitaro.Copy !req
137. Thanks for waiting.Copy !req
138. Ready to go?Copy !req
139. Sh.. Shami-san?Copy !req
140. What, you know my little sister?Copy !req
141. You're her sister, then?Copy !req
142. Yeah. The name's Namiko Shami.Copy !req
143. You're the ones who found her, yeah?
Sounds like you knew her. Well enough to kill her.Copy !req
144. You were there the moment she died, weren't you?Copy !req
145. We didn't do it! We didn't! We just happened to be there!Copy !req
146. We literally just met her today!Copy !req
147. What makes you think we did it, or witnessed her death?Copy !req
148. Anyone would if they knew you were
carrying around that demon you're holding.Copy !req
149. She has the sight.Copy !req
150. You have powers, too?Copy !req
151. Yeah. A ghost killed her, didn't they?Copy !req
152. Yeah.Copy !req
153. But I caught it and sealed it, so consider the case closed.Copy !req
154. Seems she's telling the truth.Copy !req
155. Never met a kid like you before!Copy !req
156. Gotta say, I like you! You'd be good at the craft.
I'll teach you if you want!Copy !req
157. Sh-she's getting scouted!Copy !req
158. How long would it take, and why should I choose you?Copy !req
159. Ten years, and you could take out most spirits.
You'd also inherit our ancestral weapons.Copy !req
160. Sounds good,Copy !req
161. but doesn't seem worth the cost.Copy !req
162. I can beat most spirits now, anyway.Copy !req
163. She just said no!Copy !req
164. Is that right?Copy !req
165. And she's upset.Copy !req
166. Question for you: Have you heard of any professionals
getting replaced by ghosts?Copy !req
167. Yeah.Copy !req
168. I know Nagiko was replaced.Copy !req
169. Wait, so you knew?Copy !req
170. You have the sight, right? Then you should see it, too.Copy !req
171. Each person has a colored aura
that changes hues with their emotion.Copy !req
172. When they get replaced, though,
the base color changes.Copy !req
173. You haven't changed, though.Copy !req
174. That doesn't mean much.
Smart ghosts only replace people with their same color.Copy !req
175. Without the sight, watch how they behave,
how they interact with friends and family.Copy !req
176. It's still tough to tell, though,
so don't ever let your guard down.Copy !req
177. Been hearing lately that lots
of other professionals have been replaced.Copy !req
178. Nagiko didn't have much talent for it.
That's why she went on TV instead.Copy !req
179. Ironically, that's probably why
they went after her first. What a disgrace.Copy !req
180. Th-that's harsh...Copy !req
181. She was your sister. Aren't you upset she's gone?Copy !req
182. I stopped crying once I turned sixty.Copy !req
183. I'll throw every last one of those spirits
into the depths of Hell.Copy !req
184. Their blood will serve as the tears I shed.Copy !req
185. Call me if you ever need anything.Copy !req
186. My offer's still open.Copy !req
187. We'll see how I feel.Copy !req
188. Yayoi HozukiCopy !req
189. All right, let's make room in storage.Copy !req
190. We're gonna get a bunch of evidence
from the crime scene.Copy !req
191. Yes, sir.Copy !req
192. I'm still pretty freaked out, though.Copy !req
193. The way those bodies were torn apart,
no one knows how someone could've done it.Copy !req
194. Feels like something out of a horror movie...Copy !req
195. You ever heard the story about
the evidence locker in H Precinct?Copy !req
196. No, what is it?Copy !req
197. The precinct's moved since, but here's the story:Copy !req
198. It was an old, tiny building,
with barely any space for bigger items.Copy !req
199. So they had a separate facility on H Mountain.Copy !req
200. That's where they kept evidence
involved in murders or fatal accidents.Copy !req
201. Some guys swore they could hear whispers in there
and refused to ever go inside.Copy !req
202. Eh, looks like we've got enough room.Copy !req
203. And nothing ever happened!Copy !req
204. Of course nothing ever happened!Copy !req
205. A kid? It's like, midnight.Copy !req
206. The hell? Must be lost.Copy !req
207. Hey, kid! Come back here!Copy !req
208. Christ.Copy !req
209. Hey, kiddo. You lost?Copy !req
210. Gimme... your head.Copy !req
211. There you are. What're you sitting on the floor for?Copy !req
212. My head...Copy !req
213. Give me back my head.Copy !req
214. My head...Copy !req
215. Your head...Copy !req
216. Gimme... Gimmie your head.Copy !req
217. Holy shit... What the hell happened here?Copy !req
218. HEADCopy !req
219. HEADCopy !req
220. HEADCopy !req
221. HEADCopy !req
222. Hours later, all the affected officers passed away.Copy !req
223. Autopsy revealed their brains were riddled with holes,
and their bodies were necrotic.Copy !req
224. HEADCopy !req
225. HEADCopy !req
226. HEADCopy !req
227. The only wound on their body was the cut
on their finger used to write "head" in blood.Copy !req
228. No fingerprints or other evidence
was found connecting a person to the crime,Copy !req
229. and the cause of death was left as "unknown."Copy !req
230. The police decided not to release information
about the strange incident to the public.Copy !req
231. We now turn back in time slightly to 2 AM,
right after the incident occurred...Copy !req
232. I made it safe and sound, Oswald!Copy !req
233. Ongoing Call...Copy !req
234. I'm glad to hear it. It should be near your location. Any
signs, Dorothy?Copy !req
235. There it is! Not-Shami-san! Over here!Copy !req
236. K Park in A City, please!Copy !req
237. Huh? The ghost at the Old I Watergate killed you,
then got caught by a team of three?Copy !req
238. And one of those three was a little kid?Copy !req
239. Now, that's someone I'd like to meet!Copy !req
240. Vacation ends, and Yayoi returns to school,
only to be greeted by a strange girl and her doll.Copy !req
241. When her scary stories become reality, the school
becomes a playground where their lives are on the line.Copy !req
