20. Teddy's like, hey, man, I've got this new girlfriend,

21. she's awesome, you should come interview her.

210. When I first talked to Teddy, he was acting quite horrible.

211. I mean, there were so many questions

212. that didn't make sense.

213. I knew that Teddy was not gonna help me find my sister.

214. I first called the police in Florida

215. to file a missing report on Samantha

216. on the 14th of January, 2017.

217. They made it very clear that they don't respect Canadians.

218. They said that straight to me.

219. I called every day.

220. They also said that she has the right to disappear on her own,

221. and that I have to prove that she is missing.

222. How do I prove that someone is missing?

223. Well, one, she didn't have a residence,

224. proof of residency, she didn't have a vehicle.

225. She had no ID, no phone,

226. she didn't mention that she was in danger

227. on her statuses, anything.

228. So, how am I supposed to prove that my sister from Canada

229. was missing not on her own willing to do so?

230. The Florida police said that I should call the Canadian police.

231. The Canadian police said that they were very sorry,

232. that they couldn't help me

233. because she went missing in Florida.

234. I called hospitals, morgues, shelters, everything.

235. Because the police aren't opening

236. a missing persons case on Sam,

237. no authorities are looking for her,

238. and more and more time is passing.

239. One day, I was like well,

240. I haven't seen anything from Sam in so long.

241. And so, I went to her Facebook page

242. and I had seen that her sister was commenting

243. on every single photo, saying, "Has anybody seen my sister?"

244. Desperate, obviously, to find her.

245. So, you immediately feel sick.

246. I reached out to April.

247. I just said, "Well, what do you mean, she's missing?"

248. Sam couldn't be missing.

249. Sam's the most social person in the world.

250. She's very active on social media as well.

251. But yeah, she was gone.

252. April told me that nobody's supporting her.

253. She said, "Jayme, I don't even know what I'm doing.

254. I've been doing this alone the whole time."

255. It was a mess.

256. It was an absolute mess.

257. So, I had said, "Let me help, how can I help?"

258. So from there, what do two people do

259. that aren't investigators?

260. We Googled and came across this "Rolling Stone" article.

261. We know that this person who wrote this article

262. at some point in time was with Sam.

263. I found an email online for this Omar gentleman.

264. I said, you know, I'm just gonna send him an email.

265. So, this is March 2nd, 2018.

266. "Good evening, Mr. Mouallem.

267. "On March 23, 2016, you wrote an article published

268. in the 'Rolling Stone' magazine

269. "detailing the rise and fall of Mr. Teddy Hart.

270. "In your article, you mentioned his student-turned-girlfriend,

271. "Samantha Michelle Fiddler.

272. "Sam was one of my best friends

273. "and was training as a UFC fighter wrestler

274. "under Teddy Hart.

275. "I'm reaching out to you as it says in your article

276. "that she had just finished filming

277. "for what was supposed to be a reality show based on Teddy Hart.

278. "I'm wondering if you have access to that footage.

279. "I understand this is a long shot,

280. "but I would do anything to bring Sam home in any way possible.

281. "I couldn't imagine me disappearing

282. "and no one at least trying to find me.

283. "At the very least I would like to provide her girls

284. with the reassurance that her mother did not abandon them."

285. The last time I saw Samantha Fiddler

286. was at a wrestling show in Tijuana.

287. When I found out she was missing,

288. I had no idea what she had been up to.

289. - Hi. - It's good to see you.

290. After I hear from Omar that Samantha Fiddler's missing,

291. there was a renewed purpose to the project

292. because I had all this footage of Samantha,

293. and they wanted me to help.

294. The first time I talked to Teddy,

295. he just said that he lived with her for maybe a couple weeks,

296. and that was it, and he went his own way.

297. That's totally insane.

298. I was filming them for a long time,

299. repeatedly, in Edmonton, in San Diego, in Tijuana.

300. - Yeah. - That's totally a lie.

301. I remember when they went on that trip,

302. she was telling me about the first time that he brought her

303. to the ocean, and how magical it was, and beautiful.

304. Those are actual moments that have happened

305. that he shared with her that he completely denies exist.

306. So, that would have been around the time

307. that she had messaged me about seeing the ocean.

308. And yet, you don't know this girl?

309. You don't know her children?

310. I really wanna show you guys them together, and,

311. like, they're obviously a couple.

312. You know, look how comfortable she is, though.

313. She's happy.

314. They were legitimately in a relationship.

315. She introduced Teddy to my parents.

316. That's how much of a couple that they were,

317. and that's why I was so confused to see him saying

318. that they weren't.

319. This is, like, the coolest thing in the world for me, you know?

340. Finally, we had somebody that was willing to help us.

341. They seemed like, do you know what,

342. we might not be able to help,

343. we might not be able to find her,

344. but if anything, we will try.

345. Immediately, things start happening.

346. I put out a Facebook post that got shared quite a bit.

347. At first it was sort of just within Alberta,

348. and then Missing Persons, sort of,

349. the Web sleuths, and then it did reach the wrestling world.

350. Police didn't seem to be doing anything.

351. They said, again, prove that she's in danger.

352. But Omar was posting on Facebook,

353. her face is getting out there.

354. People are starting to show interest,

355. we were getting somewhere.

356. It took years for anyone

357. to care about Samantha Fiddler's disappearance.

358. She wasn't a resident of Florida or the United States,

359. there was no evidence or body when she went missing.

360. So, it seemed plausible that maybe

361. she just wanted to disappear for a while.

362. An often overlooked element

363. is that she's a Canadian Cree woman,

364. an indigenous woman, and there's been a well-documented disregard

365. for indigenous women's safety

366. in North America dating back centuries.

367. It really seems like everything was stacked up against her.

368. But when people started realizing

369. that she had connections to the member of the Hart family,

370. people started paying attention.

371. The Harts are one of the biggest wrestling dynasties in the whole world.

372. A lot of people know about them,

373. and once people started finding that out

374. it became hard for people to look away,

375. and Teddy Hart started to find himself

376. being asked a lot of uncomfortable questions.

377. I'm hearing quotes and I'm hearing all this shit,

378. and all of a sudden my name gets dragged through the dirt.

379. I have fucking no idea what's going on,

380. because it's absolute horseshit.

381. It's disrespectful to think the cops out there

382. are so fucking sloppy that some guy like me

383. walking around in pajamas and sparkles

384. is just getting away with fucking murder.

385. So, guys can smear my name and talk shit,

386. just because you got nothing to do.

387. Like, you don't have to worry about any of this shit

388. because it's not true.

389. So, during the course of us looking for Sam,

390. there was kind of like the wrestling industry's

391. MeToo moment that came about.

392. So, it was called Speaking Out.

393. I actually originally heard about Speaking Out

394. via a gentleman on Twitter.

395. He had shared with me the hashtag and said,

396. you know, there's a group of us that do wanna remain anonymous,

397. but we're gonna start this for Sam.

398. Samantha exemplified maybe the most extreme case

399. of disregard for women's safety in this industry.

400. The fact that she'd been missing at that point

401. for almost three years,

402. and nobody was making an effort to look for her.

403. With the Speaking Out movement,

404. all these names start to kind of come out of the woodwork.

405. Lots of women, lots of girls, and some guys as well,

406. coming forward about their stories of what happens

407. in the indy wrestling circuit.

408. I knew it was just a matter of time

409. before Teddy was called out.

410. I'm typically a private person,

411. but I just remember going through all these tweets

412. of these girls speaking out,

413. and I saw somebody, they were like,

414. "Is anybody talking about Teddy Hart?"

415. I was like, yeah, it's about time.

416. Machiko! Machiko!

417. Machi! Machi!

418. Over the last few years,

419. women's wrestling has actually very much progressed,

420. because when I first broke in it was not progressive at all.

421. Women have put up with a lot.

422. Men saying, "Hey, you gotta do this for me

423. to get a spot on the show,"

424. or you know, "You'll get the title belt

425. if you do me this little favor."

426. The Speaking Out movement made it safer for us.

427. I met Teddy Hart at a show as a valet, and he's like,

428. "You have to grab my cat," as we were walking into the room.

429. I'm like, "Your cat?"

430. And I see Mr. Money just, like, walking out.

431. I'm a huge cat person, so that just, like...

432. I was like, yes, I get to take care of this cat, woo!

433. I didn't realize he was gonna live with me a few weeks later.

434. Ted didn't get abusive with me until a few months in.

435. Until I guess he got comfortable doing it.

436. It was so stressful, because I went, like,

437. four years without telling people about it.

438. So, when I finally decided to speak out on Ted,

439. I typed all that out, I made sure I had every point

440. I could get across and put out there, and then I tweeted it...

441. Teddy Hart and the two years of abuse.

442. Teddy Hart "would repeatedly steal my car and keys

443. that made me consistently late to work."

444. "He consistently wrecked my vehicle."

445. Yeah, my car, he would ding it up all the time.

446. We're okay.

447. I'm trying to fucking do five things at once, so...

448. Well, try not to do that if you're driving.

449. He hit it, like, the front right fender had a big dent in it

450. from something, and then, like, he scraped the side.

451. Like, I know it's not a Maserati or anything, but please, like...

453. Take better care of my shit.

454. Like I meant to do it, right?

455. It's because you don't have any money to pay the ticket

456. for your sister's broken part

457. and your sister doesn't trust you with it.

468. I don't let people do that hold in matches to this day.

471. It's a basic chokehold that, you know,

472. people could do on me in matches, and I can't fucking do it.

473. "He would blackmail me for sex,"

474. because I didn't wanna have sex with him anymore.

475. Like, I don't wanna have sex with you,

476. I don't like having sex with you.

478. Then he'd just be like, well, if you don't,

479. then I'm not gonna help you pay this,

480. or you're not gonna come with me on this trip,

481. and stuff like that.

482. "He coerced me under the influence of drugs

483. to sleep with.

484. "The coercion was apparent when paid him $4,000

485. in cash within minutes after the incident.

486. I still feel absolutely disgusting to this day about it."

487. I never really had an actual, like, man,

488. like, treat me like how a man should treat a woman.

489. Like, I've never had that influence.

490. So, I allowed it.

491. I had always wanted Machiko to speak out about Teddy,

492. because I had seen aggressive behavior.

493. I'd seen screaming matches.

494. Machiko's initial tweet drew

495. a ton of attention to Teddy Hart,

496. and then the attention went to Samantha Fiddler.

497. There was a mention about this Samantha Fiddler,

498. and how did she go missing,

499. and why is Teddy not saying anything, and it's been years.

500. And so it really, really blew up quite quickly,

501. and then through that, snowballing.

502. Bartow police in Florida had opened

503. a missing persons case on Samantha back in 2019,

504. and this was now a year later and nothing had happened.

505. But after Machiko speaks out, Bartow asks a larger agency,

506. the Florida Department of Law Enforcement,

507. to take on the investigation.

508. What happened to Machiko?

509. Because I mean, I've been seeing stuff, and...

510. So, Machiko, I had a lot of love for her,

511. and I thought about it, that I should have been

512. a lot nicer to Machiko,

513. and I should have tried to maybe marry her

514. and she would have been a good wife,

515. and she would have been a good person.

516. She was very solid, and she stuck up for me

517. when no one else did at the time, and I broke her heart

518. because I never even called her my girlfriend.

519. I made it very difficult for her to get close to me,

520. because I was so upset about losing that...

521. I lost everything I had.

522. It was 15 years of my life

523. and then seven years with Fay and Michelle.

524. So, that combination was everything I ever had,

525. and I lost it all, and in a fucked-up way,

526. I blamed Machiko for it happening, because...

527. I didn't blame her, but it was subconscious

528. that it happened because I went down to visit Machiko.

529. And Fay and Michelle broke her spirits right away,

530. and they wrote a bunch of shit to her, brainwashing her,

531. trying to get her all stirred up that she was gonna be...

532. you know, something was gonna happen to her

533. and that I was a terrible person and stuff like that.

534. Michelle wrote something,

535. and Machiko stuck up for me at the time.

536. And then after that, I met Sam Fiddler.

537. Well, Machiko found out that I was supposedly dating Sam,

538. which I wasn't dating Sam at all.

539. I was just trying to keep her...

540. when I met her, she was a stripper,

541. and she was trying to get off of drugs.

542. And she said that she was trying to get clean

543. and she wanted to get into MMA and boxing,

544. and her dad used to be a wrestler.

545. So, I checked all this stuff out, met her dad.

546. Her dad was a huge wrestling fan and respected me.

547. So, Sam wanted to go to Florida and start doing MMA,

548. and I have a few big-time fight promoter guys that are in MMA

549. in Bellator and UFC,

550. and they have a bunch of camps in Florida.

551. One of the schools,

552. the Team Vision Dojo runs a wrestling school.

553. So, Sam talked her dad into watching her daughters,

554. and that she would go down to do this MMA stuff.

555. It was a fucking great concept.

556. Sam boxing and Sam doing a bunch of stuff

557. and taking care of her kids,

558. and being a fucking hero mother, so I bought into it.

559. Florida is a hotspot for wrestling schools,

560. and one of the first locations where we can place Samantha

561. in Florida is at a wrestling school

562. in Orlando called Team Vision Dojo.

563. Team Vision Dojo is notorious for all the wrong reasons.

564. The man running it, Chasyn Rance,

565. he was a convicted sex offender of abusing a minor.

566. Chasyn Rance is accused of

567. lewd and lascivious battery on that girl.

568. And the girl says she had sex several times

569. at his Orlando home when she was just 15 years old.

662. So, he invited me to go to Orlando; I flew out.

663. Him and Sam, they picked me up at the airport.

664. They had, like, a really nice Jaguar they were driving.

665. He presented her as his girlfriend,

666. but I could tell real quick,

667. she was in a bad situation.

668. We all stayed together.

669. We were parked outside the motel,

670. and it was just the three of us in the car,

671. and they were kinda arguing, you know, just temperature flaring.

672. I stepped out the car; it's not my business, it's not my drama.

673. So, I went up the stairs and I was on the second floor,

674. just kinda, like, looking down, watching them,

675. and I see, you know, they're arguing back and forth.

676. And then all of a sudden it just gets out of control.

687. You know, and had to intervene, put a stop to that.

688. In my head, I'm thinking "you need

690. Like, you can't be involved with this dude.

691. But I think for her, you know, she kept hoping.

692. She's a very hopeful person,

693. and I think she just wanted to believe the best

694. and believe that things will get better,

695. and she'll become a superstar by being with this dude.

698. She had all the potential in the world

699. if she'd done what she said she was gonna do,

700. which she had actually done the fighting and the MMA,

701. and she had decided she was gonna wrestle.

702. Even we were gonna pay for the classes for her to wrestle.

703. She took one punch in one MMA class and said,

704. "Oh, I don't wanna wrestle or box anymore,

705. I'm gonna go do landscaping."

706. Got a place to stay.

707. After the fourth day she says,

708. "I'm keeping the car and I'm not making any payments to Bill,"

709. and I said, "Fuck, Bill wants the car back now."

710. So, I grabbed the keys outta the car.

711. I was disappointed, and that's when I said I'm done.

740. Then you look at a video like this, and you go,

741. whoa, this is somebody who's faking a bunch of hits

742. and doing some pretty crazy stuff.

743. This right here is Ted Hart's post from the end of April 2016.

748. And now Teddy's saying she hated it,

749. she wasn't training, she didn't like, you know...

750. and then you look at something like this and you're wondering,

751. like, Teddy, I have evidence.

752. Obviously it makes me question Teddy's entire account.

753. He's saying they went to Florida,

754. she bailed on wrestling, and that was that.

755. Fortunately, John Johnson not only spent time

756. with Teddy and Samantha in Orlando,

757. he stayed in touch with Samantha,

758. and their online conversations tell a different story.

759. After our time in Florida together,

760. I saw the altercation they had,

761. we talked online shortly after we met in person.

762. First time we contacted each other

763. on Facebook was May 15th, 2016.

764. She was saying that Teddy left her,

765. took her car, left her in Florida.

766. She was stranded.

767. On the 23 I was going to New Orleans for Memorial Day,

768. and I hit her up, asked her if she wanted to come.

769. She said, would love to hopefully take my passport back.

770. The fucker stole it and left the country.

771. If you look at the timeline

772. that actually lines up with when I was filming with Teddy

773. at his pretrial hearing.

774. So, did Teddy steal her passport and take it to Canada with him?

775. I pray to God that she's alive,

776. and that maybe that, you know,

777. that she just doesn't wanna come back.

778. Maybe the responsibilities of three kids is too much for her,

779. that she doesn't wanna deal with not being allowed

780. back in the States, because her passport's expired.

803. "Yeah, I broke up with Samantha, it wasn't working out."

808. Then about two months later, we were in the Jaguar,

809. I was sitting in the passenger seat in the car

810. and I open the glove box, and I saw the passport in there.

811. I'm like, "You claimed you left her,

812. why do you still have her passport?"

813. And he just was like, "Oh, well, I'm gonna send it to her,

814. I'm gonna give it back to her."

815. That would be around the end of the summer,

816. because I ended up leaving him in September,

817. and it was just before I left.

818. This is not the first time I've heard this.

819. Michelle said the same thing to me,

820. about how "Teddy would take my passport,

821. he would keep us prisoner."

822. Whatever he can say to scare you and to keep you there...

823. he'll take your IDs from you, your phone,

824. your important documents.

825. This seems to be something that Teddy does to control people.

826. Why would you do that to somebody?

827. Especially somebody who's not an American citizen?

828. It's not like she can just got to the office and get a new one.

832. to stay in Florida was that she still wanted to make it

859. She's clearly lost some weight and is very in shape.

860. Couple days later there's pictures of her working out at the gym.

863. Because Teddy took off with the Jag,

864. she's entirely dependent on other people to do anything.

865. After Samantha was with Marisol in June,

866. we don't know where she went after that.

867. The next time she pops up is being arrested

868. in Melbourne, Florida.

870. Says she was arrested at 7:10 a.m. on August 30th.

871. Usually in all of her photos her makeup's done up really well

872. and her hair's really done.

873. In this, she looks a little disheveled.

874. It is a stark contrast to all of her other photos.

875. This is less than three months before Samantha disappears.

876. So, now Sam Fiddler wants to start getting high

877. after she got clean with me, and then I guess from what I heard,

878. she got a charge in the States

879. that had to do with prostitution.

880. So, she was in jail for being a prostitute.

881. I've known Sam since Sam was 18 years old.

882. Sam did not do drugs, she was not prostituting herself.

883. After doing research online, I discovered

884. that Samantha had been arrested at a hospital

885. in Melbourne, Florida.

886. Samantha's arrest documents show that she checked

887. into the ER at the hospital, and she wouldn't leave,

888. So, she was arrested for trespassing.

889. That's what she was charged with...

890. not being on drugs, not soliciting sex;

891. because she needed help

892. and didn't wanna leave until she got it.

893. In the toxicology reports from her blood work

894. she wasn't on drugs, she wasn't drunk, none of those things.

895. She was just scared out of her mind.

896. What could scare her this bad?

897. So, Ted, some girl went missing, and you're responsible for her.

922. and then she's brought to the Brevard County courthouse.

923. This is less than three months before Samantha goes missing.

924. She's ultimately released of her own recognizance,

925. but she does need to report for a number

926. of court proceedings after that arrest, and she misses them all.

927. These are the minutes from the court date

928. that she missed and for case activity,

929. it says, "The defendant failed to appear, and the court

930. issues a bench warrant for the defendant's arrest."

931. This was filed November 3rd.

932. One of the questions is where is Samantha at this time,

933. why is she missing court dates,

934. and one of the big reasons, I imagine,

935. is because she had this Jaguar she was driving,

936. and now she doesn't have a Jaguar, and she has no money.

937. She's Canadian, she doesn't have a passport.

938. I imagine it would be very difficult to get around

939. a place like Florida when you have literally nothing.

940. So, at this point in time now it's only a matter of time

941. before the law catches up with Samantha.

942. Samantha's whereabouts during September and October of 2016,

943. while she was missing all her court dates, are a mystery.

944. However, the day after the bench warrant for her arrest

945. was issued, she posts a selfie on Facebook.

946. This photo of her is from November 4th,

947. which is two and a half weeks before she goes missing,

948. and it says that right now, she's in Miami.

949. The background in this photo,

950. there's some lockers and a purple wall.

951. There's a piece of somebody maybe wearing lingerie

952. in the background, and as far as we can tell,

953. this may have been taken in a strip club.

954. On November 10th, I talked to her.

955. She told me she's not wrestling no more.

956. I think she was staying in Miami at this point,

957. and she said she was dancing at a strip club.

958. I was really concerned,

959. especially after everything she's been through with Teddy.

960. I feel like she was just kind of

961. gonna go to anything she can go to, just...

962. she was in a desperate state,

963. and I feel like she's probably been in a lot of bad situations

964. ever since she came to the United States.

965. We had a little chat, and she was saying

966. that she was trying to leave and get out of there,

967. and I was really happy for her,

968. because I wanted her to get away, she needed to get away.

969. And I just never heard from her again at that point.

970. That was the last time we ever spoke to each other.

971. The only conversations that me and my sister had had

972. was her trying to get in contact with the girls.

973. There wasn't much about her telling me

974. what was going on, there wasn't...

975. you know, which was really weird,

976. because we told each other everything.

977. But every time I talked to my sister it was,

978. "I love you, I'll see you soon, I'm coming home."

979. All the time.

980. Like, that was our last conversation.

981. So, she had plans to come get the girls.

982. One of the last places that we know Samantha visited

983. is the Polk County tax collector's office.

984. This is the sort of a place you can get

985. a car registered or get an ID.

986. Samantha wasn't able to leave Florida

987. to come back home because she didn't have her ID or passport.

988. Hence, why she went to this place, to get her ID back.

989. I think Samantha was trying to get herself back to Canada

990. and back to her kids without turning herself

991. in to immigration.

992. I'm guessing she didn't wanna face any more legal trouble.

993. But maybe Samantha didn't know that if there's a warrant out

994. for your arrest and you enter a government building,

995. they can arrest you on the spot.

996. Typically, nobody's going to call the police on you

997. for a bench warrant for trespassing.

998. It's such a minute thing.

999. But for whatever reason,

1000. the identification clerk decided to contact the police,

1001. and she was arrested again for the failure to appear.

1002. This is the photo from November 18th,

1003. where Samantha gets her driver's license.

1004. The thing that jumps out to me is how different she looks.

1005. She totally changed her look.

1006. It leads me to the conclusion

1007. that maybe she's running away from something.

1008. When I seen Samantha's second arrest photo,

1009. I notice that her hair was cut short,

1010. and it was bleached blonde with a box dye.

1027. That was probably my sister coming out of jail,

1028. and I had missed the phone call.

1029. After she's released, Samantha Fiddler just vanishes.

1032. And where was Teddy when Samantha went missing?

1034. November 19th, never to be seen again.

1252. Part of the reason I think that Samantha went with Teddy

1253. is because there was all this talk

1254. of this reality show and this documentary.

1255. When I show up with a camera and I'm asking questions

1256. and I'm doing this, I reinforce this lie.

1257. I legitimized him in the eyes of other people.

1258. The way Teddy was teaching Samantha

1259. was not the right way you should teach somebody.
