1. Really, this just
doesn't suit my style...Copy !req
2. to just sit and wait like this.Copy !req
3. We pick our spot, then wait patiently.Copy !req
4. That is the secret behind fishing.Copy !req
5. Did you ever consider that maybe
this was the WRONG spot?Copy !req
6. The bait has no right to complain.Copy !req
7. What are you fishing for?Copy !req
8. "Starship Pirates." A group that
calls themselves pirates.Copy !req
9. Pirates?Copy !req
10. A group of people that
like to attack a ship...Copy !req
11. and rob anything and
everything from them.Copy !req
12. Like to rob, rob, drunken slob!Copy !req
13. Besides, where the hell did Spike go?Copy !req
14. He left to overhaul his ship,
and still hasn't...Copy !req
15. Thanks.Copy !req
16. But Spike... Man...Copy !req
17. What's he doing now,
without giving us a heads-up?Copy !req
18. You're late, Doohan!Copy !req
19. Yeah! Go, go, go!Copy !req
20. Hey?Copy !req
21. HEY!Copy !req
22. Strike three! Batter out!Copy !req
23. He just let that one slide by...
and that's the game!Copy !req
24. Man!Copy !req
25. Why didn't they just
send in a pinch-hitter?Copy !req
26. Come on, Eightwood is getting OLD!Copy !req
27. Don't ya think?Copy !req
28. Where's Doohan?Copy !req
29. The old man's kinda busy right now.Copy !req
30. I'm Miles, his assistant.
Nice to meet ya.Copy !req
31. Man, they were really great when
they won the pennant 14 years ago.Copy !req
32. They just kept hittin' the ball one after
another, and turned losing games around!Copy !req
33. Especially when Randy, Blanket,
and Hills hit consecutive homers!Copy !req
34. I really wish you coulda seen it.Copy !req
35. And ya know...Copy !req
36. Hey, do people ever tell ya that you don't talk much?Copy !req
37. Hey, well do people ever tell you that you talk too much?Copy !req
38. I guess so...Copy !req
39. The... Swordfish, right?Copy !req
40. The machine back there...Copy !req
41. Yeah.Copy !req
42. That's the amazing mono-racer
that the old man built, right?Copy !req
43. It's just an old machine.
I don't want it, but it's a part of me.Copy !req
44. I hear ya...Copy !req
45. Us Blue Sox fans feel like we
fell for some wicked broad.Copy !req
46. Really! I can't remember how many times
I've thought about giving up on them!Copy !req
47. Jesus, not again...Copy !req
48. Yo, old man!Copy !req
49. Yo. Long time no see.Copy !req
50. Yeah.Copy !req
51. Miles, where's the checklist?Copy !req
52. It's out there!Copy !req
53. I put it on the ship's body!Copy !req
54. He's been fixing that ancient thing?Copy !req
55. I think it's useless.Copy !req
56. The computer isn't compatible
with the mono-system.Copy !req
57. Miles! Gimme the EV Transmitter,
the absorber for the main gear...Copy !req
58. and the three-eight pneumatic tube!Copy !req
59. A three-eight?
I don't have something that special!Copy !req
60. Order one from Reggie.
His place has them!Copy !req
61. Yeah, yeah. You really
are some slave driver!Copy !req
62. Some hobby!Copy !req
63. Did we catch it?Copy !req
64. It wasn't me! Where is it?Copy !req
65. It's close! Shit, I used bad bait!Copy !req
66. Hey!Copy !req
67. This is a good machine.Copy !req
68. Attacking blessed people like
them and giving to the poor...Copy !req
69. is human equality,
Don't you think so?Copy !req
70. Heh, heh, I get it.Copy !req
71. This is what ya call social reform.Copy !req
72. Yeah. It's only right for us,
the poor, to take from them!Copy !req
73. Something's coming!Copy !req
74. Cops?Copy !req
75. Hi.Copy !req
76. That's enough.Copy !req
77. Bounty-hunter?Copy !req
78. Harman.Copy !req
79. Be a good girl and come here...Copy !req
80. Faye, above you!Copy !req
81. What the? Is this a joke?Copy !req
82. It's not me!Copy !req
83. Ruth! One more behind us!Copy !req
84. And it's HUGE!Copy !req
85. I know.Copy !req
86. What a tattered old ship!Copy !req
87. Leave me alone!Copy !req
88. Abnormality found in the mono-system.
Booting the emergency pilot program.Copy !req
89. Hey, stop this thing!Copy !req
90. Like I know how!Copy !req
91. Looks like he's taken
you on quite a few spins.Copy !req
92. Cut it!Copy !req
93. The accelerator pump is all worn down.Copy !req
94. I know.Copy !req
95. And the fuel injector doesn't
have a silencer on it...Copy !req
96. Don't need one.Copy !req
97. But it's noisy, and it trembles...Copy !req
98. If you put one in, then I can't
hear what it's telling me!Copy !req
99. Just hurry up and connect the injector.Copy !req
100. First of all, a three-eight
isn't popular anymore.Copy !req
101. Why don't you switch to
the new five-zero?Copy !req
102. Miles.Copy !req
103. And if you change the
navigation to full-auto...Copy !req
104. then you can glide
along without manual steering...Copy !req
105. Do you want to use a machine,
or do you want the machine to use you?Copy !req
106. Which is it?Copy !req
107. I wasn't exactly...Copy !req
108. Just go!Copy !req
109. You haven't changed a bit.Copy !req
110. At this rate, another assistant
is gonna leave you.Copy !req
111. And you! The Swordfish wants
to run away from you!Copy !req
112. I haven't heard that before.Copy !req
113. If you keep being reckless with her,
she'll really throw you off someday!Copy !req
114. Unfortunately, I'm not
one for delicate controls.Copy !req
115. Sorry to keep you waiting!Copy !req
116. I got something you don't see often...
A three-eight pneumatic tube!Copy !req
117. Yes, hello?Copy !req
118. Oh, it's you, Missing Man.
Where are you right now?Copy !req
119. I'm still with Doohan. How's Jet?Copy !req
120. He seems rather busy right now...Copy !req
121. Saying something about some bacteria...Copy !req
122. Bacteria?Copy !req
123. A virus!
We got a computer virus!Copy !req
124. Same difference.Copy !req
125. Starting with the mono-system,
orbit calculator...Copy !req
126. flight path selector, engine
regulator, communications circuit...Copy !req
127. they're all shot.Copy !req
128. I don't get it.
Gimme a simple explanation.Copy !req
129. The computer broke and we're
just drifting along!Copy !req
130. Well, I understood that.Copy !req
131. How about it? It's the newest one.Copy !req
132. You haven't seen one floating
around anywhere else, right?Copy !req
133. A mono-computer?Copy !req
134. How about it? 150K... No, 100K.Copy !req
135. A bargain, huh?Copy !req
136. When it's sold THAT cheap,
you lose money even on salvage.Copy !req
137. So, who did it?Copy !req
138. Where did you get this?Copy !req
139. A truck? Any features?Copy !req
140. A penguin...Copy !req
141. logo on...Copy !req
142. the delivery truck?Copy !req
143. Are you sure about the info?Copy !req
144. Yeah. They apparently were
dealing at the Orbit Drive-in.Copy !req
145. I see... nobody would be suspicious
of a delivery truck wandering about.Copy !req
146. And how are we going
to counter the hacks?Copy !req
147. Don't get harpooned!Copy !req
148. and?Copy !req
149. That's IT?Copy !req
150. They laughed this ship
off as "tattered!"Copy !req
151. And they made that mess
out of my Hammerhead!Copy !req
152. Unlike SOMEONE I know,
I always pay back what I owe.Copy !req
153. What a wonderful principle.Copy !req
154. I'm really not up for this...Copy !req
155. I have an invoice from Doohan here.Copy !req
156. Because they're PHYSICALLY
sending the virus...Copy !req
157. they haven't developed
a vaccine for it.Copy !req
158. That is where this secret
weapon of ours comes in.Copy !req
159. What? That's just our
normal communicator.Copy !req
160. If you get infected by the virus,
cut off the entire mono-system.Copy !req
161. Then, all navigation and
communication will go down.Copy !req
162. As I said...
I will navigate you with this.Copy !req
163. Because this is set to the frequency
for an old communications satellite...Copy !req
164. it has nothing to
do with the mono-system.Copy !req
165. Oh, another run scored
against the Blue Sox!Copy !req
166. That's some secret weapon...Copy !req
167. It was a penguin, right?Copy !req
168. Yeah. A purple penguin.Copy !req
169. There are two of them?Copy !req
170. Wait a minute, it might be
a real courier service.Copy !req
171. It's a matter of how to
figure out if they are legit...Copy !req
172. That's easy.Copy !req
173. We fire a shot, and the one
that runs is the one we want.Copy !req
174. This is the first time
I agree with you on something.Copy !req
175. Y-You guys!Copy !req
176. What are you gonna do
if they're both real?Copy !req
177. They both ran?Copy !req
178. We didn't consider that option...Copy !req
179. I'm trusting you with that one!Copy !req
180. I have to pay them
back for yesterday, too.Copy !req
181. Forgive us!Copy !req
182. W-We'll pay the parking fee!Copy !req
183. This way?Copy !req
184. Spike! Draw them out!Copy !req
185. It'll be a mess if they,
let the virus go in there!Copy !req
186. I know!Copy !req
187. So, let's see what ya got...Copy !req
188. He's here.Copy !req
189. Waste of time.Copy !req
190. He's after the arm...Copy !req
191. He's not taking us seriously! Ruth!Copy !req
192. Ready to go anytime.Copy !req
193. Take that!Copy !req
194. Welcome...Copy !req
195. Excellent!Copy !req
196. Bingo!Copy !req
197. He's holding up pretty well.Copy !req
198. Cut off the mono-system!Copy !req
199. I'm doing it!Copy !req
200. That idiot cut off his mono-system!Copy !req
201. Hey... George...Copy !req
202. And he's in Earth's
gravitational field...Copy !req
203. Old man! Here, here!Copy !req
204. - This is pretty bad!
- Align the D7. Ya did it before, right?Copy !req
205. Like I remember!Copy !req
206. No good!
There's nothing we can do!Copy !req
207. You idiot! Hurry up and
do something about this!Copy !req
208. Dammit... Move! MOVE!Copy !req
209. Falling... We're falling!Copy !req
210. Spike, I'll be right there.Copy !req
211. I'm calculating an
interception course.Copy !req
212. Until then, somehow
keep control manually,Copy !req
213. Even if everything was normal,
it'd be tough to get outta here.Copy !req
214. I can see that.Copy !req
215. And I just had it overhauled...Copy !req
216. Oh, well. Whatever happens, happens.Copy !req
217. Spike, above you.Copy !req
218. Your tattered ship
looks like a goddess!Copy !req
219. Shit, the virus...Copy !req
220. Spike!Copy !req
221. I'm still alive!Copy !req
222. We have to start over!Copy !req
223. No way! Old man, ya gotta be kidding!Copy !req
224. Are you really gonna move
this ancient piece of...Copy !req
225. Do you think I'd do this as a joke?Copy !req
226. Don't just stand there!
Hurry up and get me some fuel!Copy !req
227. All right!Copy !req
228. Spike, can you hear me?
I got a calculation.Copy !req
229. It'll take another 7 hours
for us to rendezvous.Copy !req
230. Come on, you're joking, right?Copy !req
231. We're too close to Earth. The orbital
paths I can take are limited!Copy !req
232. Isn't there a way for
you to just swing on by?Copy !req
233. If I plunge in at this
angle, both the...Copy !req
234. Bebop and the Swordfish
will burn to nothing!Copy !req
235. Jet...Copy !req
236. I have some booze hidden
behind the fridge.Copy !req
237. Feel free to drink some.Copy !req
238. Something wrong?Copy !req
239. I'm outta gas.
Nothing I can do now.Copy !req
240. How about I go there and tow you back,
in exchange for that booze?Copy !req
241. I heard the conversation.
Give me the Swordfish's coordinates.Copy !req
242. Doohan?
How the hell do you?Copy !req
243. Spike, I don't care how ya do it,
but slow down using an air-brake.Copy !req
244. Slow down?Copy !req
245. If you slow down within
Earth's atmosphere...Copy !req
246. the gravitational pull
will accelerate you instead...Copy !req
247. which will give you
enough speed to escape.Copy !req
248. However, you have to maintain
the ship at a certain angle.Copy !req
249. Too far either way,
and you'll be...Copy !req
250. thrown out to the other
end of the universe.Copy !req
251. Unfortunately, I'm not
one for delicate controls.Copy !req
252. Spike...Copy !req
253. I know you can do it.Copy !req
254. I didn't give you the
Swordfish for nothing.Copy !req
255. Don't you start crashing, either!Copy !req
256. Maximum propulsion.Copy !req
257. You didn't have to force
yourself to come with me.Copy !req
258. You know how Blue Sox
fans love to party!Copy !req
259. Let's go!Copy !req
260. All right!Copy !req
261. We're flying...Copy !req
262. We're REALLY flying!Copy !req
263. Lower the nose by 0.6 degrees.Copy !req
264. You're in too deep!Copy !req
265. Spike, you'll burn to a crisp!Copy !req
266. This is the last chance!Copy !req
267. It went in! It went in!Copy !req
268. That was perfect!Copy !req
269. Doohan, you saved me.Copy !req
270. Not quite.Copy !req
271. Most of the heat-resistant
tiles have peeled off.Copy !req
272. The temperature is rising...Copy !req
273. T- The landing gear isn't
coming down either!Copy !req
274. Oh yeah, and the #2 nozzle
won't work either.Copy !req
275. WHAT? Is that for real?
What are we gonna do?Copy !req
276. - We can't land without them!
- Oh, well... Whatever happens, happens.Copy !req
277. I KNEW I shouldn't have come up here!
I'm still too young to die!Copy !req
278. Aishiteta to nageku niwa...
