13. Finally, there's a kid named Abed who makes movies

14. at my community college, and to him I leave the task

15. of creating a video tribute of my life.

16. What follows is some general purpose footage

17. that he can use.

18. Where did you get this?

19. Some one-armed guy with a scar on his face.

20. Said he was Star-Burns' lawyer. How one-armed was he?

21. Tell me when to stop.

22. It was the other arm. You guys!

23. I feel oddly compelled to fulfill his request.

24. Would you help write obituary copy?

25. You mean like, "Star-Burns died how he lived.

27. I'm not as comfortable with death as you.

28. He's in a better place now. Yeah. The Blu-ray shelf.

29. What is that?

30. Star-Burns left me his ashes. He requested they be burnt.

31. I don't think he knows how ashes work. Small one's his lizard.

36. Is it always about the holocaust with you people?

37. I'm talking about Star-Burns, you know, dying.

38. I know it's sad, but death is a natural part of life

40. 100 people will have died in China.

41. Why did you stop talking?

42. I have to call my pen pal.

43. Star-Burns was a good man.

44. Barely sued me that time I ran over his foot.

45. I say we honor him by discussing him

46. the same amount we did when he was alive.

47. Jeff, have some respect.

48. He might have been a scuzzy weirdo

49. who shaved his sideburns into star shapes...

50. Pai Mai?

51. It's Troy. Are you okay?

52. Okay, good, I gotta go. This costs $7.

64. Britta, I could use some help dealing with my grief.

65. Great. Yeah.

66. I was hoping you'd say that, because

67. I came prepared.

68. You seemed smarter than me when I met you.

69. Thank you. For the purposes of this exercise,

70. I am Star-Burns.

71. Tell me the things you never got a chance to say to me.

75. Have you seen Tim Russert?

76. You are doing this wrong. Ask me something personal.

77. I didn't know you well, but why did you smell like salami?

78. Abed. I got one. Where's my comb?

79. I don't know. Yep, it's him.

80. Why'd you tape that blade to your ankle?

81. Why'd you poop with the door open?

82. True you made out with Britta? That's irrelevant.

83. Fat Neil's black light party.

84. Vicki saw you. If that's true...

85. If. Maybe it was because she was really drunk

86. and she just found out her first boyfriend was getting married.

87. If you're gonna do this wrong, I'm gonna take these off. Ow!

88. Okay, grief counseling is growing on me.

89. Ben Chang is here.

90. Ah, send him in.

91. Ben, how's it Deaning? Can't com-Chang.

101. no larger than three ounces.

102. I'm sorry, Chang, this stuff is too extreme.

103. This is a community college, not an inner-city high school.

104. It's a college where a degenerate

105. just blew himself up with stolen lab equipment.

106. To be fair, it was the crystal meth

107. inside the stolen lab equipment that blew him up.

108. That's the problem with you suits.

109. You want results but you don't want to know

110. how the sausage gets made.

111. I'll tell you how the sausage gets made.

123. Now think about that last little puppy in that basket

124. out of all those puppies.

125. And now, he's catching fire too.

126. Britta!

127. Why are you making us feel these things?

128. We need to bring our emotions to the surface and explore them.

129. Does it always have to be puppies though?

130. Oh, come on. This is a completely unnecessary process.

131. What Jeff's doing is called denial

132. and it is the first of five stages of grief

133. that ends with acceptance.

134. Name any other stage. What are you, my final?

135. Maybe we don't need grief counseling.

136. But seems like the least we could do

137. is have a memorial or something.

138. Yes, we could have a little service

139. and I could bring some of my brownies

140. and someone should sing Ave Maria.

141. I mean, I can do it. Whatever.

142. Sure, why not drag it out for weeks?

143. Why not wallow for the rest of our lives

144. and never get anything done?

145. Or we could just admit the simple fact that one day,

146. something is in your life and one day, it's not.

147. Dean-jour, mes amis!

148. Unfortunately, due to the whole

149. Star-Burns meth lab explosion,

152. Your grade is now an incomplete.

153. You'll have to make up the credit in the summer.

154. My summer is gone?

155. No.

156. No!

157. Well, I had a little Rockette kick-line thing planned, but...

158. [HIGH-PITCHED VOICE] ♪ Ventris tui, Jesus

160. Ave Maria!

161. Uh, now, Shirley, I understand you wanted

162. to sing something as well? No, thank you.

163. Okay, then let's move on to the eulogies.

164. Does anyone have anything they wanna say

165. in the memory of Star-Burns?

166. Oh! Because his sideburns were shaped like stars.

167. I just got it. I just got that.

168. Anything at all.

169. This is a safe place to say what you're feeling.

170. I'll say something. Oh, oh.

171. After learning about Star-Burns' death,

172. I personally went through the stages of grief

173. and have now arrived

174. at the final one, acceptance.

175. Whoo! Closure!

176. Acceptance that this place,

177. this fallujah of higher learning

178. is a prison from which none of us will ever escape.

179. Okay, Jeffrey, now we're mixing metaphors here—

180. And it turns out

181. that Star-Burns, this man in this urn,

182. was a hero to us the whole time

183. because he did the one thing

184. that none of us ever tried to do.

185. He got out.

186. And then he exploded.

187. Greendale hates its students. No. No.

188. It sucks the lives from their bodies

189. and forces their desiccated husks to attend summer school.

190. Okay, Jeffrey, this is a funeral. Let's keep it light.

191. Annie, Annie, maybe you could say

192. something nice about Star-Burns.

193. Get some sugar to go with that spice.

194. Way to go, Jeff.

195. Star-Burns or Alex, as he like to be called,

321. We had just lost a classmate.

322. And a lizard, Your Majesty.

323. It was an emotional time and we acted emotionally.

324. But the real question is, how did the school respond?

325. The riot was exacerbated

372. Whatever, I'm the worst. I'm also the worst.

373. Not gonna argue, but I am gonna forgive you.

374. That's the pizza.

375. Roll a die to see who gets it?

376. I'll get it.

377. You guys remember our housewarming party?

378. What would have happened if I had let Jeff roll?

379. I assumed this was the best timeline, what if it's darkest?

380. I don't think anyone knows what you're talking about,

386. You're the best.

387. He's right. Things are bad.
