675. So I'm bringing in culture to my runway as well

676. and, I'm a 60s scoop adoptee.

681. and they were adopted into settler families,

682. generally speaking, a lot of white communities.

683. I was in five homes before I was four.

688. not to educate me about my culture,

689. and so I grew up not having any...

690. real connection.

691. Within the last two years, I've been connected with

692. my birth family, and I went to the powwow.

693. And feel my feet on my land.

694. It was the most impactful thing I had ever

695. experienced in my life.

696. I am on this journey now.

699. a lot of real challenge through my life,

1108. disappoint my team.

1112. Y'all said that you had your lines memorized,

1113. and a lot of the time that was clearly not the case.

1114. Finding out that you didn't have a script,

1115. it doesn't surprise me because sometimes

1116. it's all on paper.

1117. You're able to edit before you go perform it,

1118. and I think that would have helped to make it

1119. more efficient and to make it flow.
