114. How expensive?Copy !req
115. Double the price.Copy !req
116. And we are still in
a cash-on-delivery situation.Copy !req

135. Changed your mind?Copy !req
136. Yeah.Copy !req
137. To be clear, you are
not going forward with this?Copy !req
138. I'm gonna fix it myself.Copy !req
139. Jimmy, what...
Kim.Copy !req
140. What are you...
Listen.Copy !req
141. I know
this seems fast.Copy !req
142. It is fast,
but I can see it.Copy !req
143. You're changing
your name?Copy !req
144. No! I... Well, yes,
but it's for my clients.Copy !req
145. You're gonna call yourself
"Saul Goodman"?Copy !req
146. I'm already calling myself
Saul Goodman.Copy !req
147. We've talked about this.Copy !req
148. The skells who've been
buying my phones...Copy !req
149. Sure as shooting,
sooner or later,Copy !req
150. every last one of them

152. How do I get them
to call Jimmy McGill?Copy !req
153. I don't!
I stay Saul Goodman.Copy !req
154. They call the guy
they already know.Copy !req
155. I thought I was wasting
a year of my life.Copy !req
156. It wasn't a waste!Copy !req
157. It was for this!
This is it!Copy !req
158. When did you decide to...Copy !req
159. Just now, just back there!
It just... Poom! It just
hit me! This is the way.Copy !req
160. Kim, it's gonna work.Copy !req
161. (EXHALES SHARPLY)
I...Copy !req
162. I know. I know.Copy !req
163. All of a sudden,
I've got it all figured out,
but I... I do.Copy !req
164. This is right.Copy !req
165. So, let me just...
I'll get this done,Copy !req
166. and then we can
talk about it, okay?Copy !req
167. (SIGHS)
I mean...Copy !req
168. Uh... Unless there's...Copy !req
169. Is there some angle
that I'm not seeing here?Copy !req
170. Uh, if you want me
to slow my roll,Copy !req
171. I can come back
and do this another day.Copy !req
172. If this is how
you're really feeling...Copy !req
173. It is.
I say sure.Copy !req
174. Great.
Five minutes, max.Copy !req
175. Okay,
where were we?Copy !req
176. Just that
you need to sign documentsCopy !req
177. with your legal name.
You got it.Copy !req
178. Then all that's left
is the Notice of Entry.Copy !req
179. Jimmy "Saul Goodman" McGill.Copy !req
180. Thank you, honey.
Mmm-hmm.Copy !req
181. Werner Ziegler.Copy !req
182. Werner Ziegler.Copy !req
183. Werner Ziegler. Ziegler.
(MAN SINGING IN SPANISH
ON RADIO)Copy !req
184. You know how many Werner
Zieglers there are in Germany?Copy !req
185. 27.Copy !req
186. 26 now,
according to Mrs. Ziegler.Copy !req
187. (SCOFFS) I told you
I never heard of the guy.Copy !req
188. What about "Michael"?Copy !req
189. Like I said,Copy !req
190. I only know the names
of two guys over there.Copy !req
191. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Victor and Tyrus.Copy !req
192. You.Copy !req
193. Yeah?
Werner Ziegler.
You ever heard of that guy?Copy !req
194. Werner Ziegler.Copy !req
195. Uh... No.Copy !req
196. What about Michael?Copy !req
197. He's a bald gringo.
He's in the game.Copy !req
198. Okay.Copy !req
199. You're good.Copy !req
200. Okay.Copy !req
201. South wall,
pouring concrete.Copy !req
202. What's he up to, man?
What's he doing?Copy !req
203. So, there's nothing new
going on, huh,Copy !req
204. nothing different?Copy !req
205. Like what?Copy !req
206. Like anything.Copy !req
207. Mmm-mmm.Copy !req
208. What?Copy !req
209. It's nothing.Copy !req
210. It's nothing, man.Copy !req
211. A couple of skells
on 4thCopy !req
212. been complaining
that the stuff is stepped on.Copy !req
213. Stepped on?
Mmm-hmm.Copy !req
214. You hear that, too?Copy !req
215. They say
it's different.Copy !req
216. Different how?
Skells complain.Copy !req
217. It's what they do.Copy !req
218. Okay. Show me.Copy !req
219. Arlo!Copy !req
220. My man!Copy !req
221. Three.Copy !req
222. Let's see what you got.Copy !req
223. Hey!Copy !req
224. Wait! Whoa, whoa!Copy !req
225. Yo! Vato! Yo!
Yo! Vato!Copy !req
226. Where you going?Copy !req
227. You're not
going in there.Copy !req
228. Yo!
(CAR DOOR OPENS)Copy !req
229. Mouse, it's okay.Copy !req
230. So, where's the stuff?Copy !req
231. It's in the chair.Copy !req
232. What, this chair?Copy !req
233. This about
the count?Copy !req
234. 'Cause the count
is good.Copy !req
235. You holding cash?Copy !req
236. Yeah. Got it
all right here.Copy !req
237. If you're holding
my cash...Copy !req
238. What're you doing
up here with my stuff?
(BAG THUDS)Copy !req
239. No one's stepping
on it, man.Copy !req
240. We pick the stuff
from the chicken farm.Copy !req
241. We cut it, split it,
and it lands here.Copy !req
242. I'm with it
all the way.Copy !req
243. At his chicken farm.
(SIGHS)Copy !req
244. You pick it up how?Copy !req
245. He puts out ten keys.
I pick six.Copy !req
246. How do you pick 'em?Copy !req
247. I just pick different
ones each time.Copy !req
248. They're all the same.Copy !req
249. Okay, so, these...Copy !req
250. These are okay.Copy !req
251. But these...Copy !req
252. This shit's
not ours, man.Copy !req
253. (CHUCKLING) Whoa.Copy !req
254. This is old-school
beautiful.Copy !req
255. Yeah.
You deserve it.Copy !req
256. But, uh...Copy !req
257. "JMM."
Yeah.Copy !req
258. Sorry about that.
I didn't know.Copy !req
259. I got it for
Jimmy McGill.Copy !req
260. Yeah, well,
Jimmy loves it.Copy !req
261. And don't worry.
I'm using it.Copy !req
262. If, uh, anybody
says anything,Copy !req
263. I'll just say
JMM is my motto.Copy !req
264. Your motto?
Yeah.Copy !req
265. "Justice...Copy !req
266. Matters Most."Copy !req
267. Mm, nice.
(CHUCKLES)Copy !req
268. There's also this.Copy !req
269. Oh.Copy !req
270. Oh, yeah.Copy !req
271. (CHUCKLES) "World's
2nd Best Lawyer. Again."Copy !req
272. Oh, that's the real mistake,
world's second best lawyer,Copy !req
273. because Saul GoodmanCopy !req
274. is gonna give you
a run for your money.Copy !req
275. I bet he will.Copy !req
276. Thank you.Copy !req
277. For everything.Copy !req
278. Really.Copy !req
279. You know what?Copy !req
280. The real trick is gonna be
to get my clients to knowCopy !req
281. that the cellphone guy
is now a lawyer,Copy !req
282. their lawyer.
Yep.Copy !req
283. That'll be a trick.Copy !req
284. What I'm thinking
is, see,Copy !req
285. I've still got almost a full
pallet of cellphones left,Copy !req
286. so why not run
a promotion?Copy !req
287. I... I'll make a real
event out of it.Copy !req
288. I'll... I'll give
'em away, okay?Copy !req
289. And, uh, for
added sweetener,Copy !req
290. limited time only,Copy !req
291. um, non-violent
felonies, 50% off.Copy !req
292. You know, it's like, uh,
commit four felonies,Copy !req
293. you get the
fifth one free.Copy !req
294. And there'll be friends
and family, too,Copy !req
295. so you can share
'em around.Copy !req
296. Really?
Yeah.Copy !req
297. I mean, it's just,
get people in the door.Copy !req
298. Once they're hooked,
I will up-sell them.Copy !req
299. Doesn't that
sound likeCopy !req
300. you're encouraging
these people to
commit crimes?Copy !req
301. (CHUCKLES) They don't
need encouragement.Copy !req
302. Believe me.
One scoop or two?Copy !req
303. One.Copy !req
304. Kim, you don't know
these assholes like I do.Copy !req
305. Rain or shine,
these morons
will be out thereCopy !req
306. doing stupid shit
and getting arrested
for it.Copy !req
307. Little discount won't make
a bit of difference.Copy !req
308. Do you want sprinkles?
'Cause I'm having sprinkles.Copy !req
309. Uh, sure.Copy !req
310. I'm just worried
about how this
reflects on you.Copy !req
311. You know what?
When you're right,
you're right.Copy !req
312. What am I doing
cutting prices?Copy !req
313. Discount is
a desperation move.Copy !req
314. (SIGHS) See?Copy !req
315. This is why
this works.Copy !req
316. I go too far.
(REFRIGERATOR DOOR OPENS)Copy !req
317. and you pull me back.Copy !req
318. Don't you think
you're selling
yourself short?Copy !req
319. You worked...
(BOWL THUDS)Copy !req
320. So hard to get
your license back.
We worked.Copy !req
321. We worked.
So, why be...Copy !req
322. (STAMMERS)
Why... Why this?Copy !req
323. (CHUCKLING)
It's perfect.Copy !req
324. They already know me.
I know them.Copy !req
325. What's not to love?Copy !req
326. Kim, I can't go back
to being Jimmy McGill.Copy !req
327. Jimmy McGill the lawyerCopy !req
328. is always gonna be
Chuck McGill's
loser brother.Copy !req
329. I'm done with that.Copy !req
330. That name is burned.Copy !req
331. This is a fresh start.Copy !req
332. This is how
I move forward.Copy !req
333. And I like it.Copy !req
334. (CHUCKLES) Sorry.Copy !req
335. It's...
I just can't see it.Copy !req
336. It's okay. You will.Copy !req
337. It'll be
most discreet.Copy !req
338. That I can guarantee.Copy !req
339. Did I keep you waiting?Copy !req
340. I was admiring
Gustavo's establishment.Copy !req
341. It's tremendous.Copy !req
342. So many trucks.Copy !req
343. Uh...Copy !req
344. Are all those buildings
really full of chickens?Copy !req
345. (CHUCKLES)
Please sit.Copy !req
346. There's a serious
matter to discuss.Copy !req
347. Of course,
Don Juan.Copy !req
348. You may have noticed that
some of the product is...Copy !req
349. Altered.Copy !req
350. Gustavo will explain.Copy !req
351. I have a confession
to make.Copy !req
352. A man was
working for me.Copy !req
353. On the legitimate side
of my business.Copy !req
354. He was supervising
a construction project.Copy !req
355. A German engineer.Copy !req
356. I think you know his name.Copy !req
357. Werner Ziegler.Copy !req
358. Through an oversight,Copy !req
359. Ziegler became aware
of our other activities.Copy !req
360. The temptation
was too great
for him to resist,Copy !req
361. and he stole
two keys of product.Copy !req
362. I believe you know
the rest of the story.Copy !req
363. You know of
Ziegler's escape.Copy !req
364. You know that my man
tracked him down.Copy !req
365. My shame...Copy !req
366. Is not simply
that I allowed
this to happen.Copy !req
367. It's that I hid
the truth.Copy !req
368. When I discovered
what Ziegler had done,Copy !req
369. I replaced
the stolen productCopy !req
370. with methamphetamine
I purchased locally.Copy !req
371. Some of this inferior product
went to your organization.Copy !req
372. And for that...Copy !req
373. I must apologize.Copy !req
374. Sincerely.Copy !req
375. What construction project?Copy !req
376. I mean, you said
the German was
building something.Copy !req
377. What?Copy !req
378. Ah.Copy !req
379. It would be simpler
for me to show you.Copy !req
380. When finished,
this will beCopy !req
381. the most advanced
in-line chilling systemCopy !req
382. in the Southwest.Copy !req
383. A chicken freezer?
Chiller.Copy !req
384. Our product is
never frozen.Copy !req
385. These are Ziegler's men,
working from his plans.Copy !req
386. As far as they're
concerned,Copy !req
387. their leader
has gone home.Copy !req
388. Nothing was keeping you
from sharing all this.Copy !req
389. A lot of trouble could
have been avoided.Copy !req
390. Yes.
There were any number
of misunderstandings.Copy !req
391. My man didn't know
who was following him.Copy !req
392. And as a result,Copy !req
393. he went to great lengths
to conceal his activities.Copy !req
394. Your man... Michael,
is that right?Copy !req
395. Yes.Copy !req
396. That's not him, is it?Copy !req
397. It is.Copy !req
398. Well, I'd love
to say hello,
if that's permitted.Copy !req
399. Well, certainly.Copy !req
400. Michael.Copy !req
401. Michael, please meet
my associate, Eduardo.Copy !req
402. What a pleasure.Copy !req
403. I've heard
so much about you.Copy !req
404. That right?Copy !req
405. Oh, yes.Copy !req
406. I'm gonna
get back to it.Copy !req
407. Thank you, Michael.Copy !req
408. Well...Copy !req
409. That explains
everything.Copy !req
410. I am glad
you are satisfied.Copy !req
411. Listen to me.Copy !req
412. There must be
no more trouble.Copy !req
413. You two must co-exist.Copy !req
414. This is non-negotiable.Copy !req
415. Gustavo, there can be
no more secrets.Copy !req
416. Yes.Copy !req
417. Don Eladio
is not happy.Copy !req
418. Do you understand
what I'm telling you?Copy !req
419. I do.Copy !req
420. Then we are done.Copy !req
421. You know, it's gonna be
a very nice chiller.Copy !req
422. The south wall's
gonna look beautiful.Copy !req
423. Come on, let's just go.Copy !req
424. Let's do it right here!Copy !req
425. Whoa. Whoa.Copy !req
426. Back off.
(CONVERSATIONS CONTINUE)Copy !req
427. There are plenty of phones.
Plenty of phones.Copy !req
428. Sorry. Can't
help you, ladies.Copy !req
429. Everybody got

557. (SIGHS) Casper, Toyota.Copy !req
558. You're headed
to Phoenix.Copy !req
559. 10:15 to Vancouver
and then Vancouver

50 of you.Copy !req
562. Sebastian, Adrian.Copy !req
563. The Civic.Copy !req
564. You're driving
to El Paso.Copy !req

576. Nobody's gonna
stumble on it.Copy !req
577. As long as Lalo Salamanca
is on this side of the border,Copy !req
578. we cannot continue
as we were.Copy !req
579. So this is it.Copy !req
580. No. This is not it.Copy !req
581. Once Salamanca
is dealt with,Copy !req
582. and he will be
dealt with,Copy !req
583. construction will resume.Copy !req

585. Mm.Copy !req
586. So, you're gonna pay me
to do nothing.Copy !req
587. Call it a retainer.Copy !req
588. Even after Ziegler?
Yes.Copy !req
589. What happened
in Frankfurt?Copy !req
590. The attorneys
spent a full day
with his wife.Copy !req
591. She accepted the facts
as presented.Copy !req
592. As per your suggestion,
a construction accident.Copy !req
593. The funeral
was yesterday.Copy !req
594. And, of course,
she has been
compensated.Copy !req
595. "Compensated."Copy !req
596. I would choose
my next wordsCopy !req
597. very carefully
if I were you.Copy !req
598. Mm.Copy !req
599. You keep your
God damn retainer.Copy !req
600. Mr. Oakley!
Mr. Oakley!Copy !req
601. Would you care to comment
on the Carl Gravenhorst case?Copy !req
602. Oh, I'm... I...
As you know,
the D.A.'s officeCopy !req
603. has been accused
of misconduct
in the Gravenhorst case.Copy !req
604. Would you comment on
the latest development?Copy !req
605. Uh, the Graven what?Copy !req
606. People are saying you're
prosecuting an innocent man.Copy !req
607. Does the D.A.'s office
have something to hide?Copy !req
608. Well, what, um...
Excuse me.
Excuse me.Copy !req
609. Please let me through.Copy !req
610. Uh, that's my client
you're talking about.Copy !req
611. And you are?
I'm Saul Goodman,Copy !req
612. and Carl Gravenhorst
is 100% innocent.Copy !req
613. The Albuquerque
D.A.'s officeCopy !req
614. is perpetrating an outrageous
miscarriage of justice.Copy !req
615. You're who?Copy !req
616. I'm Saul Goodman.Copy !req
617. And we are
countersuing youCopy !req
618. and the entire
Albuquerque D.A.'s officeCopy !req
619. for malicious persecution,
unlawful detention,Copy !req
620. and abuse of process.Copy !req
621. Seriously?
Yeah.Copy !req
622. We'll take this all the way
to the Supreme Court.Copy !req
623. By the time
we're through,Copy !req
624. Carl Gravenhorst's name
will be cleared,Copy !req
625. and we'll receive
a settlement,
a cash settlement.Copy !req
626. All right. Enough.
I've got to be in court.Copy !req
627. You...Copy !req
628. Go if you must,
but know this,Copy !req
629. we will meet again!Copy !req
630. I'm sorry.
What'd you say
your name was?Copy !req
631. I'm Saul Goodman,
and I make it my businessCopy !req
632. to defend the citizens
of AlbuquerqueCopy !req
633. against injustices
of every kind.
(CHUCKLES)Copy !req
634. Wow, you must be
really expensive,
though.Copy !req
635. Not at all.
I believe every man,
woman, and childCopy !req
636. deserves speedy justice
at a price they can afford.Copy !req
637. Do you have a card?Copy !req
638. Not for me,
for a friend.
Yes.Copy !req
639. Uh, and please tell
your friendCopy !req
640. that, uh, I make
no judgmentsCopy !req
641. and I'm available
24 hours a day.Copy !req
642. Uh, can I get
one of those?Copy !req
643. Oh, yeah.
(CHUCKLES)Copy !req
644. What about me?
Oh, sure.Copy !req
645. Okay. Wow.Copy !req
646. Yeah, uh...Copy !req
647. I just...
I just don't know.Copy !req
648. Five months.Copy !req
649. With overcrowding,
you'll probably do
less than two.Copy !req
650. Yeah. Yeah.Copy !req
651. Considering your priors,Copy !req
652. sentencing guidelines
would have you looking atCopy !req
653. two to four years
in custody.Copy !req
654. So...Copy !req
655. Five months is
really good, Bobby.Copy !req
656. Are you worried
about being there
when Lois delivers?Copy !req
657. Delivers?Copy !req
658. Oh, right.
Yeah, yeah, so, um...Copy !req
659. So, if I go to trial,
you'll be my lawyer,
right?Copy !req
660. Bobby, you do not
want to go to trial.Copy !req
661. But you'll be
my lawyer.Copy !req
662. Yes, but going to trial
would be a mistake.Copy !req
663. Trials are always
unpredictable.Copy !req
664. At trial, the D.A. will
throw everything at us.Copy !req
665. You'd just be
rolling the dice.
Yeah. Roll the dice.Copy !req
666. Yeah. I mean, I don't
mean to tell you your
business, Miss Wexler,Copy !req
667. but you put me
up there,Copy !req
668. I give the people
the big eyes,Copy !req
669. they see Lois here
and the kid,Copy !req
670. y'know, they gonna
believe me.
I'd believe you.Copy !req
671. Bobby, there are a million
reasons not to go to trial.Copy !req
672. But it's up
to me, right?Copy !req
673. Yes, it is, but I'm
advising you not to.Copy !req
674. Odds are you would end up
going away for more time,Copy !req
675. not less.Copy !req
676. And I am talking about
years of your life.Copy !req
677. But I might not, right?Copy !req
678. You don't want
to take that risk.Copy !req
679. Maybe I do.
Lois...Copy !req
680. Whatever Bobby says.Copy !req
681. Excuse me a moment.Copy !req
682. Please...Copy !req
683. Think this over
carefully.Copy !req
684. Both of you.Copy !req
685. You ready
for lunch?Copy !req
686. There's a new sandwich
vending machineCopy !req
687. down by family court.
I've heard good things.Copy !req
688. Sorry,
I'm stuck here.Copy !req
689. Really? What's up?Copy !req
690. He's not
taking the deal.Copy !req
691. Who? That guy?
(SIGHS)Copy !req
692. Isn't he the punk
who tried to sellCopy !req
693. a flatbed of hot mini-fridges
to an undercover cop?Copy !req
694. What'd you get him?Copy !req
695. Five months.
Five months?Copy !req
696. With his priors?Copy !req
697. Well, he should
be on his knees
thanking you.Copy !req
698. I'm trying to talk him
out of going to trial.Copy !req
699. No! Seriously?Copy !req
700. Seriously.Copy !req
701. (SCOFFS) You know what?Copy !req
702. (SIGHS)
No.Copy !req
703. No. We can fix this.Copy !req
704. I'm from the D.A.'s
office, okay?Copy !req
705. I'm giving you what for.
You're giving me what for.Copy !req
706. We'll be loud.
We will go over there.Copy !req
707. We will make
a scene, okay?Copy !req
708. Uh...Copy !req
709. New evidence
has come to light,Copy !req
710. and I'm pulling his deal
with extreme prejudice.Copy !req
711. I... I'm pissed.Copy !req
712. I wanna put him
away permanently.Copy !req
713. third-degree
felony...Copy !req
714. But you fight me,
I will push back hard.Copy !req
715. We'll have that punk
on his kneesCopy !req
716. begging for the
five months.Copy !req
717. I don't think so.
Yeah, come on, Kim.Copy !req
718. We can do this.
Lead-pipe cinch.Copy !req
719. He's the client.
It's his decision.Copy !req
720. What good
is it gonna doCopy !req
721. to put that dweeb away
in Los Lunas, huh?Copy !req
722. You think he's
a jackass now?Copy !req
723. Wait till he gets back
from that clown college.Copy !req
724. Jimmy, it... No.
Yeah, but what about
his wife and kid?Copy !req
725. That's them, right?
What about them?Copy !req
726. If this isn't using
our powers for good,
I don't know what is.Copy !req
727. We're not doing that.
But, Kim, we can do it.Copy !req
728. It'll work.
I am not scamming
my client.Copy !req
729. But it worked
for Mesa Verde...Copy !req
730. Jimmy, back off.Copy !req
731. Well, y...Copy !req
732. (CHUCKLING) Okay.Copy !req
733. Um...Copy !req
734. Yeah, I'll see
you at home.Copy !req
735. So, who was that?Copy !req
736. Is everything
all right?Copy !req
737. He's from the district
attorney's office.Copy !req
738. They're taking the deal
off the table.Copy !req
739. Uh, so what?Copy !req
740. I mean, we weren't gonna
take it anyway, so...Copy !req
741. Miss Wexler, why are they
taking it off the table?Copy !req
742. I... don't know
for sure.Copy !req
743. It's possible they
have new evidence.Copy !req
744. Like... Like...
Like.. Like what?Copy !req
745. Like cameras or...
Or witnesses or...Copy !req
746. I really couldn't say.Copy !req
747. We'll find out
soon enough.Copy !req
748. Bobby, I'm sorry.Copy !req
749. It looks like they want
to make an example
out of you.Copy !req
750. Uh...Copy !req
751. All right, well,
we better go
tell the judgeCopy !req
752. that we're taking
this to trial.Copy !req
753. Yeah, yeah,
you know what? Um...Copy !req
754. Are you sure we still
can't get the five months?Copy !req
755. The D.A. took that
off the table.Copy !req
756. You mean if you...
Even if you asked
real nice?Copy !req
757. I could try.Copy !req
758. Are you sure that's
what you want?Copy !req
759. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.Copy !req
760. I thought about it,
just like you said,
and...Copy !req
761. I could do
the five months.Copy !req
762. Miss Wexler, please?Copy !req
763. Wait here.Copy !req
764. I can't promise
anything, but...Copy !req
765. I'll look into it.Copy !req
766. Sure, sure.
You do that.Copy !req
767. We'll...
We'll be right here.Copy !req
