1. Run!Copy !req
2. Get them!
- How many are there?Copy !req
3. Five? Six?Copy !req
4. Maybe more!Copy !req
5. Faster! This way!Copy !req
6. After them!Copy !req
7. Let's go! Let's go!Copy !req
8. Hurry!Copy !req
9. They're getting away!Copy !req
10. Hurry!Copy !req
11. Get them!
Go! Go!Copy !req
12. Now we have them!Copy !req
13. Over there!Copy !req
14. Whoo!Copy !req
15. Whoo-hoo!Copy !req
16. So... ice discs? That's new!Copy !req
17. It's something I saw the Earthbenders do.Copy !req
18. Thought I'd try a Waterbender version.Copy !req
19. Your bending has gotten really sharp.Copy !req
20. I mean, you've been inventing new moves.Copy !req
21. That's the mark of a skilled bender.Copy !req
22. I have been feeling pretty confident,Copy !req
23. but I've learned everything I can
from Gran Gran's scroll,Copy !req
24. so what I really need is
to get to the Northern Water Tribe.Copy !req
25. Waterbending masters there
will be able to take me to the next level.Copy !req
26. We've been running into the Firebenders
a lot more often.Copy !req
27. We're getting closer
to the Fire Nation border.Copy !req
28. It was bound to happen,Copy !req
29. even without
Sokka's tragic dating attempts.Copy !req
30. Hey, how was I supposed to know
she was a Fire Nation soldier?Copy !req
31. Look, we need to keep our guard up,Copy !req
32. at least until we get to the North,
where the—Copy !req
33. Aang?Copy !req
34. Fire Nation.Copy !req
35. Why would they do this?Copy !req
36. Why do they do anything?Copy !req
37. This is all my fault.Copy !req
38. It's the Avatar's job
to protect the natural world.Copy !req
39. That's just as important as helping people
and fighting Firebenders.Copy !req
40. How many more forests have died
because I wasn't here?Copy !req
41. Because I don't know what I'm doing?Copy !req
42. Gran Gran says... life is a cycle.Copy !req
43. And out of death comes new life.Copy !req
44. This will be a forest again.Copy !req
45. That's what you should see.Copy !req
46. Seeds for the future.Copy !req
47. Not past mistakes.Copy !req
48. Hey!Copy !req
49. No, it's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you.Copy !req
50. You lost?Copy !req
51. Uh,Copy !req
52. my name's Sokka.Copy !req
53. Rhymes withCopy !req
54. "okka" and "wakka wakka."Copy !req
55. She looks very brave. She have a name?Copy !req
56. Well, maybe we can
come up with one for her.Copy !req
57. How aboutCopy !req
58. Pippinpaddle Oppsokopolis?Copy !req
59. The third.Copy !req
60. Shi-yong made her for me.Copy !req
61. Shi-yong?Copy !req
62. Is Shi-yong your friend, or is he...Copy !req
63. Sokka!Copy !req
64. No, wait.Copy !req
65. Over there.Copy !req
66. There you are.Copy !req
67. You know better
than to wander off by yourself.Copy !req
68. Hey, she... she dropped this.Copy !req
69. We're not here to cause trouble. We...Copy !req
70. She was just scared.Copy !req
71. Something bad happened here, didn't it?Copy !req
72. Please forgive my manners.Copy !req
73. - Thank you for helping my daughter.
- No need to apologize.Copy !req
74. Living this close to the Fire Nation
means you've gotta stay on your guard.Copy !req
75. Yes. We have seen our share of war.Copy !req
76. Was that how the forest was destroyed?
A battle?Copy !req
77. No.Copy !req
78. The Firebenders just wanted a clear path
as they moved through the mountains.Copy !req
79. And that's why
they burned down the forest?Copy !req
80. But after the fire,
strange things started happening.Copy !req
81. Our crops started dying.
Our... our animals stopped grazing.Copy !req
82. It... it's almost as if the land itself
had gotten sick.Copy !req
83. A few days ago, we sent out an expedition
to search for food.Copy !req
84. And they never came back.Copy !req
85. My son, Shi-yong,Copy !req
86. he was with them.Copy !req
87. We know what it is like to live in fear.Copy !req
88. But this, this is something deeper.Copy !req
89. It's somethingCopy !req
90. beyond this world.Copy !req
91. You're right.
Your people are beyond this world.Copy !req
92. But I can get them back.Copy !req
93. Any news?Copy !req
94. No, sir.Copy !req
95. Nothing?Copy !req
96. How many places can there be
for a giant sky bison to hide?Copy !req
97. - And no reports of anything unusual?
- None.Copy !req
98. Except...Copy !req
99. Except what?Copy !req
100. One of the resupply merchants
mentioned something aboutCopy !req
101. kids playing with ice blocks
near Senlin Pass,Copy !req
102. but he was probably mistaken.Copy !req
103. So someone saw iceCopy !req
104. in a place where no ice should exist?Copy !req
105. Most people would call that unusual,
wouldn't they, Lieutenant Jee?Copy !req
106. Unless they were an idiot.Copy !req
107. I'll send some men to investigate.
No, I'll have to do it myself.Copy !req
108. As always.Copy !req
109. Commander Zhao is very impressive...Copy !req
110. working with no support
in a forgotten little corner of the world,Copy !req
111. and yet he found the Avatar.Copy !req
112. I've always admired
how you manage your commanders.Copy !req
113. You always seem to know
how to get the most out of their talents.Copy !req
114. Now,Copy !req
115. if it were me,Copy !req
116. I'd send more resources to Zhao.Copy !req
117. See what he can do with a little support.Copy !req
118. "Water the most promising seeds."Copy !req
119. You taught me that.Copy !req
120. You may be right.Copy !req
121. Tell Colonel Shinu
to mobilize the archers.Copy !req
122. And alert the chancellor
I'll be redirecting some funds.Copy !req
123. And, Azula...Copy !req
124. Zhao didn't discover the Avatar. Zuko did.Copy !req
125. He's the one who displayed
resilience and dedication.Copy !req
126. That's what I expect from a future heir.Copy !req
127. Not self-serving flattery
and coy whispers.Copy !req
128. The world we live in
isn't the only world there is.Copy !req
129. There's another realm beyond ours.Copy !req
130. The Spirit World.Copy !req
131. Usually, the two remain separate,Copy !req
132. but there are places
where the barrier between them is thin.Copy !req
133. So you think the forest
is one of these thin places?Copy !req
134. I don't think it.Copy !req
135. I feel it.Copy !req
136. And I believe the fires
weaken the barrier even more.Copy !req
137. The Avatar is the bridge between
the natural world and the Spirit World,Copy !req
138. and I can feel how close the two are.Copy !req
139. It's like ice that's started to crack.Copy !req
140. So you're gonna hop into the Spirit World,
grab the lost folks, and hop back.Copy !req
141. Something like that. Yeah.Copy !req
142. You sounded a lot more confident before.Copy !req
143. Because all of this is my responsibility.Copy !req
144. Yes, I need to get to the North
so I can save the Waterbenders,Copy !req
145. but I also need to help these peopleCopy !req
146. so they don't lose their homes
and the ones they loveCopy !req
147. the way I lost mine.Copy !req
148. It's impossible for you to do everything.Copy !req
149. It's like Bumi said,
"The Avatar has to do the impossible."Copy !req
150. I need to find where
the spiritual energies are strongest.Copy !req
151. And where's that?Copy !req
152. I'll know it when I find it.Copy !req
153. You almost said something specific.Copy !req
154. Katara?Copy !req
155. Aang?Copy !req
156. A shrine
to the spirit of the forest.Copy !req
157. This is the place.Copy !req
158. So what do we do?Copy !req
159. We watch over Aang.Copy !req
160. Once his spirit crosses over,
his body will be vulnerable.Copy !req
161. We need to protect him.Copy !req
162. Oh.Copy !req
163. And how will we know that this works?Copy !req
164. I'm not sure.Copy !req
165. - I'm getting hungry.
- Hey, do you mind?Copy !req
166. I'm trying to concentrate here.Copy !req
167. Sh.Copy !req
168. Sokka, I think it worked.Copy !req
169. Katara?Copy !req
170. Ah!Copy !req
171. - What is happening?
- I don't know! Aang?Copy !req
172. I've separated my spirit from my body,
but somehow, I brought you guys with me.Copy !req
173. How is that possible?Copy !req
174. Must be the energies in the placeCopy !req
175. and the thinness of the barrier
and my power.Copy !req
176. Well, get us back! Get us back now!Copy !req
177. I'm... I'm sorry.Copy !req
178. Uh...Copy !req
179. We're in the Spirit World.Copy !req
180. Don't mention the Avatar.
We can't let word get out.Copy !req
181. Agreed. And we should tread lightly.Copy !req
182. The Fire Nation
may control this territory,Copy !req
183. but it's still Earthbender country.Copy !req
184. - We don't want to cause trouble.
- When have I ever caused trouble?Copy !req
185. When, indeed.Copy !req
186. They're Fire Nation. Look at them.Copy !req
187. Look at their garments.Copy !req
188. I heard Waterbenders might've been
around these parts not long ago.Copy !req
189. - Did you see them?
- No.Copy !req
190. - But you remember hearing about them.
- Sort of.Copy !req
191. Perhaps this... will help.Copy !req
192. Now,Copy !req
193. did you see the Waterbenders?Copy !req
194. No.Copy !req
195. But I heard the Avatar might be traveling
with some Waterbenders.Copy !req
196. What did you say?
The Avatar.Copy !req
197. He's with some Waterbenders.Copy !req
198. Isn't that right, Muki?Copy !req
199. What? The Avatar?
That's what those pirates said.Copy !req
200. No, it wasn't the pirates.
It was that canyon guide.Copy !req
201. He said the Avatar
fought off some canyon crawlersCopy !req
202. with the help of a couple Waterbenders.Copy !req
203. Was he the one who told us about
how they stopped the volcano...Copy !req
204. It seems they've heard about the Avatar.Copy !req
205. Right after they fought
the mad King of Omashu.Copy !req
206. I'm gonna lose him.
I'm gonna lose everything!Copy !req
207. If word has gotten to this backwoods hole,
that means everyone knows.Copy !req
208. Everyone in the Earth Kingdom.
Everyone in the Fire Nation.Copy !req
209. The hunters will be out.
There's blood in the water now.Copy !req
210. Help me! She's crazy!Copy !req
211. Don't die, you idiot.Copy !req
212. I only get half if you die.Copy !req
213. What are you looking at?Copy !req
214. A low-life bounty hunter.Copy !req
215. Low-life? Big talk for a little boy.Copy !req
216. I'll let it pass
'cause your dad's kinda cute.Copy !req
217. Should've known they would've let
mercenaries run wild here.Copy !req
218. Gyatso used to tell me that
the Spirit World and the physical worldCopy !req
219. are tied together.Copy !req
220. What happens to one affects the other.
It's kinda like your soul and your body.Copy !req
221. Separate but connected.Copy !req
222. That makes sense.Copy !req
223. Gyatso had a way
of making things easy to understand.Copy !req
224. He made everything easy.Copy !req
225. He sounds amazing.Copy !req
226. He was.Copy !req
227. You know, I've always felt
I was a spiritually-attuned person.Copy !req
228. - Might be why I crossed over with you.
- Is that a frog or a froggy thing?Copy !req
229. I have no idea how he got in here.Copy !req
230. The villagers are probably trying
to find a way out.Copy !req
231. They're probably looking
for something familiar.Copy !req
232. Assuming they realize
they don't belong in here.Copy !req
233. None of you belong in here.Copy !req
234. Uh, who said that?Copy !req
235. Who said what?Copy !req
236. No human belongs in this realm.Copy !req
237. That is one big birdie.Copy !req
238. "Birdie"?Copy !req
239. I am no birdie.Copy !req
240. I am the spirit of knowledge itself.Copy !req
241. Please excuse Sokka.
He didn't mean anything.Copy !req
242. - Aang, who are you talking to?
- What do you mean?Copy !req
243. They do not hear what you hear.Copy !req
244. Their small minds are incapable
of comprehending my speech.Copy !req
245. But I hear you.Copy !req
246. You are the Avatar.Copy !req
247. You were meant
to have one foot in this world.Copy !req
248. They, however, are interlopers.Copy !req
249. And the longer they stay,Copy !req
250. the more dangerous
it will become for them.Copy !req
251. Dangerous?Copy !req
252. Dangerous?Copy !req
253. The birdie's not gonna eat us, is it?Copy !req
254. That should be the least of his worries.Copy !req
255. There are creatures in here
that will do far moreCopy !req
256. than devour your body.Copy !req
257. They'll eat your soul.Copy !req
258. Aang? What's he saying?Copy !req
259. He says he's not gonna hurt us.Copy !req
260. All we want is
to find our missing friends,Copy !req
261. and we'll get out of here.Copy !req
262. There is one who lives in a stone hut
not far beyond the woods.Copy !req
263. He may know what's become of your friends.Copy !req
264. Follow the path, and you will find him.Copy !req
265. Wait. Wait.
What did you mean about danger?Copy !req
266. What could happen to them?Copy !req
267. There are things in here
that will reveal truths to humans.Copy !req
268. Truths they're never prepared to face.Copy !req
269. It will show them who they really are,Copy !req
270. and that can cause a great deal of pain.Copy !req
271. Farewell, Avatar,Copy !req
272. and remember, stay on the path.Copy !req
273. Bye-bye, Birdie.Copy !req
274. That's enough.Copy !req
275. The lesson is over, Your Highness.Copy !req
276. Azula!Copy !req
277. Azula!Copy !req
278. Azula!Copy !req
279. Are you okay?
Here, let me help you.Copy !req
280. Um,Copy !req
281. that was intense.Copy !req
282. Yeah.Copy !req
283. - You could've hurt him.
- That's his fault.Copy !req
284. He should've been better.Copy !req
285. Except this wasn't about the trainer...
was it?Copy !req
286. Azula, you're the best.Copy !req
287. Everybody knows that.Copy !req
288. You're perfect.Copy !req
289. That's not good enough.Copy !req
290. There you are. Where have you been?Copy !req
291. Apologies. I got distracted
watching a game of Pai Sho.Copy !req
292. The street players in these parts
are quite good.Copy !req
293. I'm sure they are. Now let's go.Copy !req
294. They didn't follow the expected tactics,
but that was their strength.Copy !req
295. Uncle, is there any chance
you could finish this story on the boat?Copy !req
296. Prince Zuko, there is much you can learn
from these Pai Sho players.Copy !req
297. They are untrained, but that only means
their minds are open to new ideas.Copy !req
298. And so they are ready
when a solution reveals itself.Copy !req
299. No!Copy !req
300. June is the best at what she does,
and that's finding people.Copy !req
301. She's a mercenary.
Her loyalty is bought and sold.Copy !req
302. How can you trust someone like that?Copy !req
303. June is a professional.Copy !req
304. If she fails, she doesn't get paid,
and she doesn't eat.Copy !req
305. Prince Zuko,
I know you have always believedCopy !req
306. there is a right and a wrong way
of doing things.Copy !req
307. It is a mark of a great leader,Copy !req
308. but the rules are different out here.Copy !req
309. Commander Zhao knows this,Copy !req
310. and he's already making moves
while we have yet to draw our tiles.Copy !req
311. So... tell me about this Avatar.Copy !req
312. Um...Copy !req
313. - Oh, did you see that?
- See what?Copy !req
314. Did you see... that?Copy !req
315. Sokka, relax.Copy !req
316. The owl said we'd be fine
as long as we stuck to the path.Copy !req
317. Right, Aang?Copy !req
318. Right.Copy !req
319. Aang? What did the owl really say?Copy !req
320. He said it could be dangerous
for you guys in here.Copy !req
321. That you might have to face the truth.Copy !req
322. But how bad could the truth be, right?Copy !req
323. Right.Copy !req
324. Right?Copy !req
325. The truth.Copy !req
326. Yeah.Copy !req
327. Yeah, I can deal with the truth.Copy !req
328. What I can't deal with is getting eaten
by some giant spirit monster.Copy !req
329. You had to say something.Copy !req
330. Aang, please tell me that's some
spirit language only you can understand,Copy !req
331. and it's saying, "Welcome, friends,
would you like some cake?"Copy !req
332. That's not what it's saying.Copy !req
333. Just stay on the path.Copy !req
334. The owl said it'd be okay
as long as we stay on the path.Copy !req
335. We're on the path. We're on the path.Copy !req
336. We're on the path! We're on the path!Copy !req
337. Get off the path!Copy !req
338. It's the spirit of the forest.Copy !req
339. It's wounded.Copy !req
340. I can't bend. I can't bend!Copy !req
341. I can't either.Copy !req
342. Look out!Copy !req
343. Hey, skunky! Why don't you pick on
someone your own size?Copy !req
344. I... I didn't mean me.Copy !req
345. - Sokka!
- Everyone, run!Copy !req
346. Pain.Copy !req
347. Pain.Copy !req
348. So much pain.Copy !req
349. Actually, they're just scratches.Copy !req
350. Not you. Hei Bai.Copy !req
351. Hey, what?Copy !req
352. Hei Bai. That spirit.Copy !req
353. It's in a lot of pain.Copy !req
354. I must've landed harder than I thought.Copy !req
355. I'm a little discombobulated.Copy !req
356. You're funny.Copy !req
357. And you're a talking fox.Copy !req
358. Then again,
not the craziest thing I've seen today.Copy !req
359. I need to get to my friends
before they get eaten by that monster.Copy !req
360. It's not a monster. It's hurt.Copy !req
361. That's what pain does to you.Copy !req
362. It changes you
into something that you're not.Copy !req
363. Don't you know what it's like to be hurt?Copy !req
364. Well, these scratches
are making me pretty irritable, so...Copy !req
365. Do you always make jokes
when you don't wanna talk about something?Copy !req
366. What? That's not what I do.Copy !req
367. You should go.
I hope you can "recombobulate."Copy !req
368. Spirit World.Copy !req
369. Oh, and be careful.Copy !req
370. The fog can be... dangerous.Copy !req
371. Sokka?Copy !req
372. Aang?Copy !req
373. Aang?Copy !req
374. Katara.Copy !req
375. Mom?
There you are.Copy !req
376. I've been looking all over for you.Copy !req
377. This can't be.Copy !req
378. Is it really you?
What?Copy !req
379. Katara, are you okay?Copy !req
380. It's just been so long.Copy !req
381. Come on. We're late.Copy !req
382. I'm telling you, four strands is stronger.Copy !req
383. I didn't say it wasn't stronger.Copy !req
384. I said it was a waste.Copy !req
385. Katara, you're not braiding.Copy !req
386. You know I was never good at this.Copy !req
387. Sokka used to tease me about...Copy !req
388. Where's Sokka?Copy !req
389. He and your father should be back
from their fishing expedition soon.Copy !req
390. Katara...Copy !req
391. I can't bend.Copy !req
392. You will. I know it.Copy !req
393. Someday, you are gonna show the world
just how powerful you are.Copy !req
394. You will protect all of us.Copy !req
395. Fire Nation! Run!Copy !req
396. Hide her.Copy !req
397. Find the Waterbender!
Go!Copy !req
398. Katara, we have to get inside now!Copy !req
399. No, I'm not going in there!Copy !req
400. Hide.Copy !req
401. And whatever you do, don't come out.Copy !req
402. Where's the Waterbender?
We know you have one in the village.Copy !req
403. All the Waterbenders are gone or dead
because of you.Copy !req
404. You're lying.Copy !req
405. Turn the bender over.Copy !req
406. Or die.Copy !req
407. Wait!Copy !req
408. It's me.Copy !req
409. I'm the Waterbender.Copy !req
410. So much fear.Copy !req
411. So much despair.Copy !req
412. Ooh.Copy !req
413. Spirit World. More like mud world.Copy !req
414. It smells like Appa after a rainstorm.Copy !req
415. Well, that doesn't seem right.Copy !req
416. Dad?Copy !req
417. The spirits of water
bear witness to this mark.Copy !req
418. For the strength and leadership
displayed during his ice-dodging trials,Copy !req
419. I grant this Mark of the Wise...Copy !req
420. to Sokka.Copy !req
421. To my son.Copy !req
422. Huh!Copy !req
423. This is the day of my ice-dodging trials.Copy !req
424. This is the day
you passed your ice-dodging trials.Copy !req
425. Just as the warriors in our family
always have.Copy !req
426. You did make it exciting though.Copy !req
427. Bato!Copy !req
428. You were cutting it a little close
around those icebergs, weren't ya?Copy !req
429. Yeah, that's right. I lost control.Copy !req
430. I...Copy !req
431. I didn't know what to do.Copy !req
432. If you hadn't have been on the boat
and stepped in...Copy !req
433. We all came through in one piece.Copy !req
434. That's all that matters. Right, Hakoda?Copy !req
435. Yes, that's right,
and selecting the right crewCopy !req
436. is part of being a wise leader.Copy !req
437. It's why we do the trials
with help from our friends.Copy !req
438. You see?Copy !req
439. Why don't you go find your sister?
And we can all celebrate.Copy !req
440. Hey, Sokka.Copy !req
441. We just saw your ice-dodging cutter
or what remains of it.Copy !req
442. If this is how you pass a test,Copy !req
443. I'd hate to see
what you do to a boat when you fail.Copy !req
444. What a joke.Copy !req
445. I didn't think
he'd get in trouble that quickly.Copy !req
446. If it weren't for you,
Sokka would have wrecked us.Copy !req
447. We're lucky to be alive.Copy !req
448. It was tricky. Even I only saw
the breakers at the last second.Copy !req
449. You don't have to make excuses for him.Copy !req
450. I'd hoped,Copy !req
451. when he really had to prove himself,
that he'd do...Copy !req
452. better.Copy !req
453. The truth is, not everyone is meant
to have people's lives in their hands.Copy !req
454. Give in to your despair.Copy !req
455. Katara!Copy !req
456. Sokka!Copy !req
457. Home.Copy !req
458. It isn't real.Copy !req
459. It isn't real.Copy !req
460. What have we here?Copy !req
461. Someone who can resist?Copy !req
462. That can't be possible.Copy !req
463. Unless...Copy !req
464. Ah, of course.Copy !req
465. It's my old friend, the Avatar.Copy !req
466. Do I know you?Copy !req
467. I should say so.Copy !req
468. One of your previous incarnations
tried to slay me.Copy !req
469. Why would I try to kill you?Copy !req
470. Oh, it was something about
stealing the face of someone you loved.Copy !req
471. But you know all about stealing,
don't you?Copy !req
472. Perhaps you've come
to return what you stole from me.Copy !req
473. I don't know what you're talking about.
All I want is to find my friends.Copy !req
474. Your friends?Copy !req
475. Now, why would I let you
play with my food?Copy !req
476. Hello?Copy !req
477. Aang?Copy !req
478. Gyatso?Copy !req
479. Aang!Copy !req
480. You finally made it!Copy !req
481. This isn't... this isn't real.
It can't be. It's another trick.Copy !req
482. It's another illusion.Copy !req
483. I know it's hard to believe,
but... it's really me.Copy !req
484. There are lots of Illusions here,
but you've emerged from the fog.Copy !req
485. This is real.Copy !req
486. Recognize this?Copy !req
487. One of the last games we played.Copy !req
488. Hey!Copy !req
489. Ah.Copy !req
490. Your turn.Copy !req
491. Cheater.Copy !req
492. I can't believe it's really you.Copy !req
493. How is this possible?Copy !req
494. How are you... here?Copy !req
495. Ah. Well...Copy !req
496. after you left the Southern Air Temple,
the Firebenders attacked.Copy !req
497. It was sudden and swift.Copy !req
498. Most who perished
moved on in the Great Cycle.Copy !req
499. I chose a different path.Copy !req
500. You chose not to move on
to the next stage of enlightenment?Copy !req
501. Why?Copy !req
502. BecauseCopy !req
503. I knew you would need me.Copy !req
504. I do need you.Copy !req
505. I'm supposed to be the Avatar,
and everyone is counting on me,Copy !req
506. except I don't know what I'm doing.Copy !req
507. But now you're here.Copy !req
508. Aang, I can't tell you
how to be the Avatar.Copy !req
509. Of course you can.Copy !req
510. Avatar Kyoshi told me
that I need to get to the NorthCopy !req
511. to prevent a great tragedy from happening.Copy !req
512. Except... I don't know how.Copy !req
513. I don't know anything.Copy !req
514. You know a lot more than you think.
I doubt that.Copy !req
515. I mean, how am I supposed
to save the worldCopy !req
516. if I can't even save...Copy !req
517. my friends?Copy !req
518. They're somewhere in the fog.Copy !req
519. Ah.Copy !req
520. That is the Fog of Lost Souls.Copy !req
521. A place that imprisons people
in their darkest memories,Copy !req
522. and it is the hunting ground for Koh,
the face stealer.Copy !req
523. He preys on those
paralyzed by despair and doubt.Copy !req
524. He must have the villagers too.
The ones we came to rescue.Copy !req
525. Koh will have taken them to his lair.Copy !req
526. Koh will hold them there
until he's ready to feed.Copy !req
527. When that happens,Copy !req
528. their souls will be lost forever.Copy !req
529. I have to save them!Copy !req
530. Koh is a primal spirit,Copy !req
531. a dangerous and ruthless predator.Copy !req
532. There is no way to defeat him.Copy !req
533. I have to try.Copy !req
534. I have to do something.Copy !req
535. Koh.Copy !req
536. He said that he knew me.Copy !req
537. That I've taken something from him.Copy !req
538. It's true. Previous Avatars
have tangled with Koh.Copy !req
539. It's said Roku once
even got the best of the spirit,Copy !req
540. but nobody knows exactly what happened.Copy !req
541. Okay.Copy !req
542. Then... I need to talk to Roku.Copy !req
543. I've contacted Avatar Kyoshi
at her shrine.Copy !req
544. I can do the same with Roku.Copy !req
545. Except Roku's temple
is in the Fire Nation.Copy !req
546. - It'll be a dangerous journey.
- I don't have a choice.Copy !req
547. I'll be back.Copy !req
548. Aang!Copy !req
549. There's something I need to tell you.Copy !req
550. You... couldn't have done anything...
if you'd stayed with us.Copy !req
551. You couldn't have stopped the Fire Nation.Copy !req
552. You couldn't have prevented the war.Copy !req
553. You would have just died
along with everyone else.Copy !req
554. It's not your fault.Copy !req
555. So... let go.Copy !req
556. Can we talk about it when I get back?Copy !req
557. Of course.Copy !req
558. You should hurry.
Koh will feed again before too long.Copy !req
559. Right. Once I save my friends,
we'll have more time.Copy !req
560. Time.Copy !req
561. Time is a funny thing.Copy !req
562. The past, the future,Copy !req
563. it all gets mixed up.Copy !req
564. There's only one way to keep it straight.Copy !req
565. It's by remembering what really matters.Copy !req
566. I hope
you can help me, Avatar Roku.Copy !req
567. I know you're in pain. I saw your spirit.Copy !req
568. I'm gonna make this right,
and I'm gonna save my friends.Copy !req
569. I promise.Copy !req
570. Sorry, buddy. You can't come this time.Copy !req
571. You too, Momo.Copy !req
572. It's too dangerous.Copy !req
573. Keep them safe for me, okay?Copy !req
574. Of course, keeping sight
of what's important can be hard.Copy !req
575. Sometimes it feels like
we'll always be alone.Copy !req
576. And the only thing
keeping us company is our own pain.Copy !req
577. We tell ourselves
we are the problem.Copy !req
578. Especially when things
we can't control come our way.Copy !req
579. That's why we must let go
of our pain and regretCopy !req
580. and remember what it is
we're really fighting for.Copy !req
581. The ones we love.Copy !req
582. Let that be the light that guides you
through the most treacherous of times...Copy !req
583. and the darkest of nights.Copy !req
