1. Now the story of a wealthy family
who lost everything...Copy !req
2. and the one son
who had no choice...Copy !req
3. but to keep them all together.Copy !req
4. It's Arrested Development.Copy !req
5. It was Monday morning...Copy !req
6. and Michael Bluth
was nervous about meeting...Copy !req
7. with the new prosecutor
of his father's criminal case.Copy !req
8. I don't know what you're
so nervous about, Michael.Copy !req
9. It's a new prosecutor.
It's a whole new beginning...Copy !req
10. a new day, a new case,
a whole new set of lies.Copy !req
11. - I'm not lying anymore, Mom.
- Michael was lying.Copy !req
12. He found his fugitive father
earlier in the week...Copy !req
13. and he was hiding him
in the attic...Copy !req
14. where George Sr. Was currently
waiting for his breakfast.Copy !req
15. About the business,
just for the record...Copy !req
16. I was not involved with Dad
building houses in Iraq.Copy !req
17. - That's exactly what I'm gonna tell them.
- Is that for Lindsay?Copy !req
18. Because she's not scared
to eat in front of me anymore.Copy !req
19. Those are
the whites only, yes?Copy !req
20. These aren't for Lindsay.
These are mine.Copy !req
21. Anyway, I'm not lying
anymore either, Michael.Copy !req
22. I'm being lied...Copy !req
23. - on.Copy !req
24. Wow. Now more's gonna
come up than go down.Copy !req
25. I gotta get outta here.Copy !req
26. - Hmm?
- I can't take this anymore.Copy !req
27. I mean, she's just
so loving and affectionate.Copy !req
28. L- l-This is not the woman
I fell in love with.Copy !req
29. Oscar, please. You can't go.
You gotta stay, okay?Copy !req
30. This is the nicest she's been since
she found out Rosa could breast-feed Buster.Copy !req
31. Oh, Buster. Don't even bring that up.
He's well into his army training.Copy !req
32. Actually, Buster had
hit a wall in his army training.Copy !req
33. I can't do it! I can't make my bed,
and I can't do this either!Copy !req
34. Aren't you supposed to yell at me and call me
"homo" and motivate me over this wall?Copy !req
35. We can't do that anymore. Lawsuit.Copy !req
36. In fact, it was a recent ruling...Copy !req
37. prosecuted by the same man
who Michael was soon to meet with.Copy !req
38. It's going to be a long time
before Sergeant Wendell Baker...Copy !req
39. calls someone
"Private Homo" again.Copy !req
40. God willing,
he'll fail boot camp.Copy !req
41. Well, why wouldn't he?
He already failed day camp.Copy !req
42. - Hey.
- Hi. Hey, Dad.Copy !req
43. - You ready for the prosecutor?
- Hi. I hope so.Copy !req
44. - How'd that math test work out?
- Oh, it was okay, I guess.Copy !req
45. But- I don't know.
It was weird. I studied with Ann...Copy !req
46. but I still got a B-minus.Copy !req
47. - Ann got you a B-minus?
- Well, it wasn't Ann. She's an expert in math.Copy !req
48. - Isn't that cute?
- Is it?Copy !req
49. Michael felt his son
was setting the bar too low...Copy !req
50. with his dating standards.Copy !req
51. No, it wasn't Ann's fault. I think I just
ended up thinkin' about the questions too long.Copy !req
52. And so, by the time I put
an answer down, I went with, like...Copy !req
53. my fifth choice
or somethin' like that.Copy !req
54. George Michael,
never settle for fifth choice.Copy !req
55. Something better is gonna come along.
She just has to.Copy !req
56. I think maybe sitting in the back
of the class with Ann is a bad idea.Copy !req
57. You know,
she's just so pretty.Copy !req
58. - I get distracted, I guess.
- Do you?Copy !req
59. - I wish I could draw her nose.
- Maybe it's your eyes.Copy !req
60. Maybe you need glasses...
for your grades.Copy !req
61. Didn't you say you had
a hard time readin' the board...Copy !req
62. - sittin' in the back row?
- No, I said I was in the back of the classroom.Copy !req
63. - That's what I mean. Yeah?
- It's different. No. No.Copy !req
64. Well, I don't know. Maybe.Copy !req
65. - No, definitely. I'll call the eye doctor.
- I guess.Copy !req
66. I'm gonna set you up
an appointment. Okay?Copy !req
67. - Hey, gang.
- Tobias.Copy !req
68. Oh. Ooh, I'm afraid I'll have to
take them to go. I'm late for the gym.Copy !req
69. Oh, and also,
here's a number...Copy !req
70. in case the Blue Man Group
calls and needs an understudy.Copy !req
71. I just found out
that my cellular telephone was a lemon.Copy !req
72. - It didn't work.
- Neither do you.Copy !req
73. - Pretty brave card for you to play.Copy !req
74. - I just can't stand it. Tobias getting in shape...Copy !req
75. For a bunch
of slutty gym rats.Copy !req
76. - What's wrong with your voice?
- Nothing. I've been going out.Copy !req
77. Lindsay had been frequenting singles clubs...Copy !req
78. also still hoping to make
her open marriage work-Copy !req
79. - Whoo!
- which it won't.Copy !req
80. - I didn't catch that.
- Whoo!Copy !req
81. I wonder how many women
he's slept with, if any.Copy !req
82. Lindsay, it's not
a competition.Copy !req
83. Of course it is, Michael.
That's why they call it scoring.Copy !req
84. - Maybe in the '70s.
- That many? We've only
been doing this for a month.Copy !req
85. Instead of competing with Tobias,
why don't you try spending...Copy !req
86. - a little more time with your daughter?
- Why? Tobias doing that?Copy !req
87. - At that moment, Lindsay's daughter...Copy !req
88. - was in the process of wooing her own man.
- Who is it?Copy !req
89. - Steve Holt!
- Maeby had even started
ordering unnecessary items...Copy !req
90. just to have more occasions
to see him.Copy !req
91. Uh, you ordered a "Memories
ofThanksgiving" basket?Copy !req
92. - Wow, that looks great.
- Maeby, who's your friend?Copy !req
93. - Is this your sister?
- No.Copy !req
94. But you just made my day.Copy !req
95. Thank you for the basket.
See ya.Copy !req
96. He thinks I'm cute.Copy !req
97. He's 19. He's a senior
at my high school.Copy !req
98. And had been for several years.Copy !req
99. You know what?Copy !req
100. I think I am gonna spend more time
with my daughter.Copy !req
101. I can't promise you I won't tell
the prosecutor about that.Copy !req
102. - Where you been?
- Are you wearing my
dead wife's maternity clothes?Copy !req
103. Yeah. It's the only thing
I could find.Copy !req
104. - Where are the eggs?
- Doctor says they're bad for the baby.Copy !req
105. - So, you ready for this new prosecutor?
- I was until you came back.Copy !req
106. You're not gonna
turn me in, are you?Copy !req
107. Because I had no idea there were sanctions
against, uh, Iraq.Copy !req
108. You know, th-they sent me over there.
They said, "Go build."Copy !req
109. Uh- Uh, Do I look like
a criminal mastermind to you?Copy !req
110. How do you get this ham open?
I can't- I can't get this ham open.Copy !req
111. I'm not gonna turn you in. But you have put me
in a position where I'm gonna have to lie.Copy !req
112. Why did you come back here
in the first place?Copy !req
113. Oh, no reason. Your mother happens
to be shtupping my brother, that's all.Copy !req
114. I'm only here to find out
if I have a shot with her.Copy !req
115. If she's really in love with Oscar-
I don't know- to hell with her.Copy !req
116. I'll just-
I'll just leave.Copy !req
117. - I'll never come back.
- Great. She's really in love with him.Copy !req
118. That's very funny.
I need you to find out, okay?Copy !req
119. 'Cause ever since
l- I heard about this-Copy !req
120. I can't sleep.Copy !req
121. I can't- I can't eat.Copy !req
122. Oh. Look, it just peels off.
Isn't that clever?Copy !req
123. Later that day,
George Michael was having his eye exam...Copy !req
124. and finding it to be just as difficult
as his math exam.Copy !req
125. - One or two?
- Two. No. No, one.Copy !req
126. - Okay. Two or three?
- Three.Copy !req
127. Uh, unless three is too much
of an improvement.Copy !req
128. I'm sorry.
Is one- Is one in the mix still?Copy !req
129. And Michael met
with the new prosecutor, WayneJarvis.Copy !req
130. I'm sorry. I don't understand
how this is not a conflict of interest.Copy !req
131. You almost represented us,
and now you're the prosecutor.Copy !req
132. The Patriot Act. Read it.Copy !req
133. L-I'm not even the president anymore.
My brother Gob is.Copy !req
134. I spoke with Gob.
He appears to know nothing.Copy !req
135. Yeah, that's not an act.
He twice tried to microwave...Copy !req
136. a Ding Dong
while it was still in its foil.Copy !req
137. - Twice.
- Twice?Copy !req
138. - Two times.
- In fact, Gob had been grilled earlier.Copy !req
139. - I don't know anything about the business!
- We're gonna get you, Bluth.Copy !req
140. We'll give you a few minutes
to think about what you want to do.Copy !req
141. He knows less than anyone
we have ever questioned.Copy !req
142. Gob knew too little
to know that, however...Copy !req
143. and his confidence
had never been more shaken.Copy !req
144. And just when he thought he couldn't
handle another embarrassment-Copy !req
145. You're free to go.Copy !req
146. Things could get very messy for you, Michael,
unless you have something to bargain with...Copy !req
147. like, say, a fugitive.Copy !req
148. - I don't know where to find such a thing.
- Look harder.Copy !req
149. - There might be something in it for you.
- Something to get me off?Copy !req
150. If you could find
a certain someone.Copy !req
151. Can I have a moment alone
with my client, please?Copy !req
152. Did you follow any of that?Copy !req
153. Yeah. He's hinting that
he's gonna grant me immunity...Copy !req
154. but only on the condition
that I turn in my father.Copy !req
155. You know where your father is?
No, wait. Don't tell me now.Copy !req
156. Okay. If you know,
give me a high five.Copy !req
157. Mm-mmm.Copy !req
158. Michael had just found out...Copy !req
159. - that his legal problems might go away
ifhe turned in his father.Copy !req
160. It's just you and me now, huh?Copy !req
161. No, Barry, l- I know
where my father is, okay?Copy !req
162. He came back to make sure that my mother
wasn't really in love with my uncle.Copy !req
163. He wants to know if he's still got a shot with her.
If he doesn't, he's leaving.Copy !req
164. If he's got a shot with her,
just give me a little tap on the fanny.Copy !req
165. - That's not gonna happen.
- Okay.Copy !req
166. Then look, just tell him anything
he wants to hear to keep him from running.Copy !req
167. We just have to keep him here
until we can hear...Copy !req
168. what kind of deal
they're offering you.Copy !req
169. You just trust me.
I'm a lot more competent than you can imagine.Copy !req
170. Oh, I forgot to take
the tinfoil off too.Copy !req
171. I really wanted that.Copy !req
172. Buster, meanwhile, was sharing his failure...Copy !req
173. with someone who was
well-versed on the subject.Copy !req
174. I mean, I couldn't get over the wall.
They put me on suspension until I can.Copy !req
175. Perhaps you need to find somebody
who can motivate you.Copy !req
176. - Yeah, but who?
- And then it hit him.Copy !req
177. Gob had always proven
a good motivator for Buster.Copy !req
178. - Do it!Copy !req
179. When you do this without getting punched
in the chest, you'll have more fun.Copy !req
180. - Thanks, Brother.
- Hey, Brother...Copy !req
181. how would you like to go
to the old playground with me?Copy !req
182. I'm sure as hell not gonna go back to work.
I'm never going back there.Copy !req
183. Oh. Well, then perchance I might be able
to borrow your cellular telephone?Copy !req
184. I'm not fit
to run a company.Copy !req
185. And I don't deserve
a fancy phone.Copy !req
186. Well, the Blue Man Group might need me.
And I do deserve a fancy phone.Copy !req
187. They didn't, and he doesn't.Copy !req
188. Michael knew he couldn't
let his father get away.Copy !req
189. So he decided to see ifhis mother
and Oscar really were in love.Copy !req
190. So, come on. Aren't you really just dating
Oscar to get back at Dad?Copy !req
191. Oh, it may have
started as that...Copy !req
192. but I have
fallen in love with Oscar.Copy !req
193. And it's so nice not to have to worry
about getting pregnant.Copy !req
194. The doctor said
I couldn't be a mother now if I tried.Copy !req
195. And that was without
even interviewing me.Copy !req
196. Here you go. Hot tea.Copy !req
197. Because that's what you are-
a hottie.Copy !req
198. Stop me from pouring this on myself.
I can't take this anymore.Copy !req
199. All right. Now, listen, Oscar.Copy !req
200. Maybe you should think
about moving on, you know.Copy !req
201. This really isn't your scene,
with the sweaters and the furniture.Copy !req
202. Maybe you should take a leap at freedom,
like my father.Copy !req
203. Just run.Copy !req
204. - Is that her rape horn?Copy !req
205. It's more like
a starter's pistol.Copy !req
206. Run.Copy !req
207. Meanwhile, Tobias set about
learning how to operate his new cell phone.Copy !req
208. - Oh!Copy !req
209. And Lindsay tried to spend
more time getting to know her daughter.Copy !req
210. Hi, baby. Oh, Steve. Hi.Copy !req
211. - Hi.
- What are you doing here?Copy !req
212. I thought I'd spend a little time
with my daughter.Copy !req
213. After all, it hasn't been that long
since I've been in high school.Copy !req
214. - Is that a fire?Copy !req
215. - We have to go to class.
- Okay. Well, this was fun.Copy !req
216. Maybe later we can all spend a little
more time together. Go shopping. Get a drink.Copy !req
217. I'm in school.
And I'm 15.Copy !req
218. Oh. Well, I'm much, much, much...Copy !req
219. older than 15.Copy !req
220. - You don't look it.
- Oh, Steve.Copy !req
221. He thinks I'm young.
You made my day again!Copy !req
222. - Your mom's pretty, uh, out there.
- She's not my mom.Copy !req
223. But she said
you were her daughter.Copy !req
224. His daughter.
That's my dad.Copy !req
225. - That's a dude?
- And the worst part is...Copy !req
226. he thinks he's passing.Copy !req
227. Right outside the school,
Buster tried to put his own plan...Copy !req
228. into action
by stirring up old memories.Copy !req
229. What do you say?
I need your help to get over the wall. Push me.Copy !req
230. I'm the pathetic one, Buster,
not you.Copy !req
231. I totally freaked out in front
of that prosecutor today.Copy !req
232. Like a little girl
in a little dress-Copy !req
233. little saddle shoes,
little pigtails.Copy !req
234. Wow, that does sound
like a little girl.Copy !req
235. Come on, get my ire up.Copy !req
236. Push me!Copy !req
237. Oh.Copy !req
238. Oh, this is turning out to be
much more fun than I'd hoped.Copy !req
239. It was fun. But it wasn't
making him a better soldier.Copy !req
240. Push me higher.Copy !req
241. Ooh! I'll do it.Copy !req
242. Whoo!Copy !req
243. And Michael reported to
his father about his meeting with the prosecutor.Copy !req
244. - Prosecutor offer you a deal?
- That was not said.Copy !req
245. But, uh, more importantly, you should know
that it seems like Oscar's on his way out.Copy !req
246. - Really?
- Yeah. So just sit tight,
and everything should be fine.Copy !req
247. Wow. Hey, by the way,
I broke this thing. L-Copy !req
248. - What the hell is it anyway?
- That's a breast pump, Dad.Copy !req
249. Oh. Well, I did not
use it for that.Copy !req
250. And so Michael went to meet the prosecutor.Copy !req
251. I felt obligated to share
some photographs with you.Copy !req
252. I obtained these from
the Bluth Company e-mail server.Copy !req
253. You tapped into our e-mail?
That's legal?Copy !req
254. I'm going for a hot Ding Dong.Copy !req
255. Hot Ding Dong? Yeah?Copy !req
256. Michael, this is a close-up satellite photograph
of the Iraqi countryside.Copy !req
257. See this little series of hills
around that stream?Copy !req
258. Those are bunkers.
We believe that those bunkers...Copy !req
259. contain weapons
of mass destruction.Copy !req
260. We also think that your father
was building on that land to hide them.Copy !req
261. Which is why that photograph
was on his e-mail.Copy !req
262. - Are you serious?
- Almost always.Copy !req
263. I was once called the worst audience
participant Cirque Du Soleil ever had.Copy !req
264. - This is a big accusation.
- I did not find their buffoonery amusing.Copy !req
265. - About my father.
- He's guilty, Michael, of medium to heavy treason.Copy !req
266. That proves it.
You can't protect him.Copy !req
267. Turn him in
and immunity is yours.Copy !req
268. - Michael returned home
to confront his father.
- Michael?Copy !req
269. Mom was just here
looking for you.Copy !req
270. She's claiming Oscar's disappeared
because of something you said.Copy !req
271. - Can't talk right now.
- Really?Copy !req
272. What's wrong with your voice?Copy !req
273. I can talk, sure.
I didn't say anything to Oscar.Copy !req
274. - Anything else?
- No.Copy !req
275. Oh. Hey, did I tell you?
I accidentally ran into Steve Holt.Copy !req
276. Wow. Everything about you
is so womanly.Copy !req
277. You're everything
a woman should be.Copy !req
278. Thank you, Steve.Copy !req
279. We ended up
making a lunch date.Copy !req
280. I thought you were
spending time with Maeby.Copy !req
281. Yeah. I'll have to
reschedule her.Copy !req
282. But Mom isn't the only one "finding love"
where she least expects it. Her words.Copy !req
283. Wh-Whoa! Finding love-
She said that? Where, here?Copy !req
284. Yeah, she won't
shut up about him.Copy !req
285. She said "tingling,"
like, 75 times.Copy !req
286. Gets me tingling.
And, you know, with Oscar there's tingling.Copy !req
287. - She said those words in this house?
- Yeah.Copy !req
288. Dad?Copy !req
289. Hello?Copy !req
290. Michael had just discovered
that his father had escaped from the attic.Copy !req
291. Hello?Copy !req
292. This is gonna sound like a strange question,
but have you seen Dad?Copy !req
293. Of course not.
And I'm not talking to you.Copy !req
294. You tried to scare away Oscar,
which didn't work.Copy !req
295. - He's back.
- I just, uh-Copy !req
296. I just wanted to have sex with you.
That's-That's all I'm good for.Copy !req
297. Did you hear that?
He said he just wants to-Copy !req
298. - Good-bye, Mom.
- Have sex with me.Copy !req
299. - You smell like a pinecone.
- Yeah, that's the weed.Copy !req
300. I went to my, uh,
my- hole trailer...Copy !req
301. and l- I smoked some
like a cigarette.Copy !req
302. Should we take it
into the bedroom?Copy !req
303. - Only if you really love me.
- Of course I do.Copy !req
304. Ohh.Copy !req
305. What's wrong with you?
Where are you going?Copy !req
306. I'm on mushrooms!Copy !req
307. I'm on bad mushrooms!Copy !req
308. And soon,
the prosecutor's evidence became public.Copy !req
309. We've obtained photographs that officials
call definite proof of W.M.D.'s in Iraq.Copy !req
310. What that means
for your weekend at 10:00.Copy !req
311. It seems that due
to the new information-sharing provisions...Copy !req
312. in the Patriot Act, the photos
had made the rounds...Copy !req
313. through several branches
of government...Copy !req
314. and ultimately
to the U.S. Army itself.Copy !req
315. I just came back to tell you.
I can't do that wall.Copy !req
316. There's no time for that.
We're shipping out without you.Copy !req
317. - What?
- Didn't you see?Copy !req
318. - Pick it up. Pick it up.
- Weapons of mass destruction?Copy !req
319. - Those bastards.
- I did not say that.Copy !req
320. Are you gonna let that slide?
Are you gonna allow your children...Copy !req
321. and your children's children...Copy !req
322. and any children
that I might have out there...Copy !req
323. to live in fear
for the rest of their lives?Copy !req
324. Climb that wall, homo!Copy !req
325. Climb it.Copy !req
326. And just as the men
thought the day could get no more surprising...Copy !req
327. - it did.Copy !req
328. - Ohh! Ooh!Copy !req
329. - When you do this without getting
punched, you'll have more fun.Copy !req
330. - Oh, hey, George Michael.
- Oh, hi.Copy !req
331. They found W.M.D.'s in Iraq,
so we got a half-day.Copy !req
332. Cool. So I got
a "C" on my math test.Copy !req
333. Not anticipating
a good reaction on that.Copy !req
334. Well, the "B" got you glasses.
Maybe this time you'll get a neck brace.Copy !req
335. Anyways, have you seen my mom?Copy !req
336. Seems possible.Copy !req
337. - She's on her way to meet Steve Holt.
- I thought you liked him.Copy !req
338. I do. I'm crazy about him.
But he's obsessed with her.Copy !req
339. That's all he wants
to talk about.Copy !req
340. Lindsay felt bad.
Perhaps she had hurt her daughter...Copy !req
341. by putting herself first.Copy !req
342. But she would have felt worse
if she'd remained even a moment longer.Copy !req
343. But it's only because
he thinks she's got a penis.Copy !req
344. Oh, I told him
she was a tranny.Copy !req
345. Meanwhile, Michael was still up in the attic.Copy !req
