1. Entering sector G-38, Captain.

2. A ship has entered this sector.

3. They're early.

4. It isn't Home One.

5. Security alert.

6. Comms, ask them to identify themselves

7. and transmit their clearance code.

8. Yes, sir.

9. Ship approaching.

10. Track distance mark eight-zero-four, six-point-seven-two.

11. What's the word, Comm?

12. I'm receiving their signal now, sir.

13. They're Jedi.

14. Say again?

15. The signal. It's an old Jedi clearance code.

16. They say they're here to see the prisoner.

17. Captain, who are they?

18. I'm calling their bluff.

19. Signal them to come aboard.

20. I want to meet these "Jedi."

21. Have security meet me in the hangar.

22. - You've got the bridge. - Yes, sir.

23. Thank you for allowing us to come on board, Captain...

24. Hayle.

25. If you don't mind me saying,

26. it's quite a surprise meeting Jedi out here.

27. Our existence remains a mystery to most, Captain Hayle.

28. I bet it does.

29. You put on a good show, but, uh...

30. I don't buy it.

31. I don't understand.

32. You're no Jedi.

33. Just some overconfident Imperial trash who just pushed their luck too far.

34. You're making a mistake.

35. And you, sir, should have surrendered when the Empire collapsed.

36. Jakris, get RD-3 to scan these imposters for identification.

37. Allow me to show you our identification.

38. You're right about one thing, Captain.

39. We are no Jedi.

40. They're heading to the detention level.

41. The Captain's dead. So are half the security detail.

42. How many targets are there?

43. Two, but they've split up.

44. Go, go, go!

45. Look out! Look out!

46. Baylan, you are true to your word.

47. And well paid for it, Lady Morgan.

48. The Jedi who captured me seeks the map.

49. She knows about Thrawn.

50. Who is this Jedi?

51. Ahsoka Tano.

52. Huyang...

53. I found it.

54. I'm not... ... jammed.

55. Huyang?

56. Come no closer.

57. The map. Give it to us.

58. "Us"?

59. Us.

60. Us.

61. Initiate self-destruct protocol.

62. Huyang, where are you?

63. I am above your position...

64. Now.

65. I shall set down.

66. No, you won't. Keep going.

67. I don't understand.

68. What would you rather I did?

69. Just keep flying and lower the ramp!

70. Good thing I arrived when I did.

71. About that.

72. Where were you?

73. I was keeping the ship at a safe distance.

74. If you didn't keep at such a safe distance,

75. maybe we wouldn't have lost communication.

76. I am just following standard Jedi mission protocol.

77. Huyang, the Order doesn't exist anymore.

78. Nonetheless, I have my programming.

79. Next time, stay close.

80. Watch my back.

81. That is the job of a Jedi Padawan learner. Which I am not.

82. Anyway...

83. I found it.

84. The map?

85. Right where Morgan said it would be.

86. How did you get her to tell the truth?

87. Let's just say I didn't follow standard Jedi protocol.

88. Hmm.

89. Fulcrum, this is Home One, do you copy, over?

90. Come in, Home One, this is Fulcrum, over.

91. Copy, incoming transmission, Priority One,

92. there's been an incident.

93. Come in, Home One,

94. this is T-6 One-Nine-Seven-Four on approach, over.

95. Copy that, T-6, you are cleared for approach,

96. hanger two-nine, over.

97. Affirmative. T-6 out.

98. We're tracking you, T-6, you are cleared for landing.

99. General Syndulla...

100. it's good to see you.

101. And you. Though I wish it were under more pleasant circumstances.

102. I'm afraid we've lost your prisoner.

103. I've prepared a briefing to get you caught up.

104. Just like old times.

105. Unfortunately.

106. They took out an entire security detail and scuttled one of our new starships.

107. Who are they?

108. I don't know.

109. They seem to have abilities like you.

110. These days, there are few who can wield the Force.

111. Perhaps one of them was once a Jedi.

112. Possibly.

113. Huyang, make a copy of this recording and run a match on their lightsabers.

114. What's their connection to Morgan Elsbeth?

115. I have known her to hire mercenaries in the past.

116. Well, the investment paid off. They vanished without a trace.

117. The day isn't a total loss.

118. A star map?

119. Not just any star map.

120. This one holds the secret Morgan's after.

121. Which is?

122. The location of the last missing Imperial Grand Admiral.

123. Thrawn.

124. That's not possible.

125. Thrawn died at the Battle of Lothal.

126. His death was never confirmed.

127. I started hearing whispers of his return which led me to Morgan.

128. She was a great ally of Thrawn's during Imperial rule.

129. She knows something.

130. And the secret is held in that map.

131. If Thrawn survived, does that mean Ezra...

132. I hope so.

133. Nothing is certain except our enemy's belief

134. that they know where to look.

135. Okay.

136. Let's take a look at this map.

137. We cannot show you the map.

138. The device is locked

139. and the key to activating it has eluded me.

140. It's never a straight line with you Jedi, is it?

141. General, the Defense Council is requesting an update on the incident.

142. Tell them I'll be right there.

143. You know who could help you with this?

144. I do.

145. Well?

146. I'm not sure she'll want to help.

147. She'll do it.

148. For Ezra.

149. On this day several years ago, the Empire was defeated

150. thanks to the heroic efforts of Commander Ezra Bridger,

151. who sacrificed himself to liberate our world.

152. This monument we dedicate here today

153. stands in recognition of Commander Bridger and the rebel leaders

154. who fought so valiantly on our behalf.

155. May their courage and commitment never be forgotten.

156. Here to say a few words is one of those rebel leaders.

157. Commander Sabine Wren.

158. Sabine Wren.

159. Uh...

160. Huh?

161. - Where is she? - I don't know. She was just here.

162. - Where did she go? - I don't know where she went.

163. - Get out there and say something. - What?

164. Cover for me.

165. While we wait for Commander Wren's arrival,

166. allow me to introduce Senator Jai Kell,

167. who will share with us some words of...

168. wisdom.

169. - Senator. - Yep.

170. Thank you, Governor Azadi, for that introduction.

171. I would like to thank you for your support...

172. Security, I want a full perimeter sweep.

173. Sabine Wren.

174. Find her. Now.

175. This is Spectre Two-One,

176. this is Spectre Two-One. Commander Wren, do you copy?

177. Repeat, Commander Wren, do you copy?

178. What do you want, Porter?

179. Governor Azadi is looking for you.

180. Oh, yeah? Why is that?

181. Well, you're missing the ceremony.

182. Oh, that was today?

183. I thought you'd wanna be there. It's a big day for you, hero.

184. Yep. Well, you thought wrong.

185. Look, Commander, I have my orders. I'm gonna need you to pull over.

186. Well, here's a new order.

187. Get lost.

188. Can't do that.

189. Stand down, Commander.

190. What's she doing?

191. Commander, stand down.

192. Sabine?

193. Is she gonna stop?

194. Sabine, stand down.

195. She's not stopping.

196. Sabine!

197. She's crazy.

198. Hey.

199. Hi.

200. Hey, Sabine.

201. I'm sorry for disappearing on you.

202. I made this recording because, more than the others,

203. I need you to understand.

204. As a Jedi, sometimes you have to make the decision no one else can.

205. So that's what I did to defeat Thrawn.

206. We've been through a lot. Grew up together in this Rebellion.

207. And we're not really family, but you're like a sister to me.

208. I know your fight isn't over, and now I won't be there to help you.

209. But I'm counting on you to see this through.

210. May the Force be with you.

211. What was this place?

212. An ancient temple built by my ancestors.

213. The Nightsisters of Dathomir.

214. You're a witch?

215. A survivor.

216. There's not much left back there.

217. Either the Jedi has the map or it was vaporized.

218. She has it.

219. Well, if she does, you're lucky.

220. Luck has nothing to do with it.

221. Fate has decided our next move.

222. Send this one to the planet Lothal.

223. Master?

224. Do as she says.

225. Why Lothal?

226. What thread is she spinning?

227. No, it's not witchcraft.

228. Ahsoka Tano's former apprentice is on Lothal.

229. You're looking for Sabine Wren.

230. It's up to all of you now.

231. And remember...

232. the Force will be with you. Always.

233. Ezra.

234. But, um...

235. You missed the ceremony.

236. Was that yesterday?

237. It slipped my mind.

238. You were missed, Sabine. Everyone was there.

239. Not everyone.

240. Greetings, Sabine Wren.

241. Hello, Huyang. Still in one piece?

242. Oh, yes, and still 75% original parts.

243. Well then. I'll be on the ship.

244. You're gonna wanna hear what she has to say.

245. I think I know how to find Ezra.

246. You really think Ezra's still out there?

247. Nothing is certain.

248. However, our enemy is actively seeking Thrawn.

249. Which is what led me to the map.

250. Where did you find this?

251. On a world named Arcana.

252. It was a stronghold for the Witches of Dathomir...

253. thousands of years ago.

254. Witches.

255. Great.

256. This is getting more exciting by the minute.

257. I take it these patterns have meanings?

258. You have the artist's eye. Tell me what you see.

259. Well, no one would design a map you couldn't read.

260. There must be a key or codex of some sort.

261. Perhaps this will help.

262. This is a scan Huyang took of the temple where we found it.

263. So, where do you call home these days?

264. This ship serves me fine.

265. Still?

266. Don't you ever get tired of moving from one place to another?

267. I go where I'm needed.

268. Not always.

269. You never make things easy.

270. Why should I?

271. You never made things easy for me, "Master."

272. There is nothing easy about being a Jedi.

273. Well, then I should've made a good one.

274. Yes.

275. You should have.

276. Lady Tano, I have an update.

277. Not right now, Huyang.

278. Go ahead.

279. I'm gonna need that scan.

280. Can I take this?

281. Where are you going?

282. Somewhere I can think more clearly.

283. I'm not sure that's a good idea.

284. Why?

285. This isn't just about finding Ezra.

286. It's about preventing another war.

287. You think I don't know that?

288. The map stays here.

289. Okay.

290. I see the two of you are getting reacquainted.

291. So what did you find?

292. As you requested, I have run an analysis on the lightsabers.

293. The image was corrupted, but using my extensive database

294. I was able to reconstruct the details of the two hilts.

295. They are quite elegant, with several classic design motifs.

296. It's all very fascinating, Huyang, but do you have any names?

297. Patience. This is where it gets interesting.

298. The construction and overall design are executed exactly the way

299. I taught younglings to build a lightsaber at the Temple.

300. So, definitely Jedi-trained?

301. Yes. However, this one I do not recognize.

302. But this one...

303. In the last 500 years, I've only known one student

304. who built a saber such as this.

305. Baylan Skoll.

306. He disappeared at the end of the Clone Wars. Like so many Jedi.

307. A master and an apprentice?

308. That would be my assumption.

309. If both trained in the Jedi Arts, they will be formidable adversaries.

310. For you alone.

311. Of course, you may not be alone for much longer.

312. Maybe.

313. Thank you, Huyang.

314. Sabine, you're going to want to hear...

315. Uh-uh.

316. Looking for a key, okay?

317. I'm not sure coming here was such a good idea.

318. Sounds like it didn't go so badly.

319. She took the map off the ship when I explicitly told her not to.

320. Well, maybe she just needed some space to think.

321. More clearly, according to Lady Wren.

322. See? There you go.

323. Everything's gonna be fine.

324. I don't understand why things have to be so difficult.

325. Well, considering your history, I'd say that's expected.

326. But you and I both know Sabine gives you the best chance of reading that map.

327. You're right.

328. I just wish she had changed a little.

329. But she's still just as stubborn and bullish as ever.

330. She's Mandalorian.

331. You knew what you were getting into.

332. I thought I did.

333. Things didn't turn out the way either of us wanted.

334. Mentoring someone is a challenge.

335. I bet your Master found you difficult at times.

336. Anakin never got to finish my training.

337. Before the end of the Clone Wars, I walked away from him.

338. And the Jedi.

339. Just like I walked away from Sabine.

340. I'm sure you had your reasons.

341. Sometimes even the right reasons have the wrong consequences.

342. What do we do then?

343. Well, you're of no help.

344. Three figures...

345. Three faces...

346. The key.

347. This is it.

348. I think I'm going on a trip.

349. Huyang! I need backup now!

350. We have a problem.

351. We've been looking for this.

352. That's too bad.

353. She's at the old communications tower.

354. There.

355. - I see them. - Bring us in.
